Bosch Avantixx Front Load Washing Machine Questions & Answers

My machine is leaking from the back of the machine. It was only a trickle, but yesterday it was a flood.

Randomly through any of the washing cycles the machine will switch on "pause". This will happen about 5 times during any of the phases of the wash. So I have to be there to press the start button each time.

Are replacement bearings available for this machine and if so what is their reference number/specification? Thanks

Does anyone have an old Bosch Avantrix they are throwing out - I want to see if I can separate the drum and replace the cheap bearings installed by Bosch China. They failed after only a few years and it sounds like a freight train coming through my laundry.

How do you stop it back filling with dirty water once the cycle has finished and the machine has sat for a day or two?

an you separate the drum and reseal (glue) it to be able to change the cheap bearings provided?

where does the detergent go?

My bosch avantiXX front loader has stunk from day one even when cleaned out by hand excess water wiped out and door left open? It has water sitting at the door drum everyday whether used or not and stinks like mouldy and has some in the rubber ? I will never get a front loader again.

I have had my front loader now for 6years with no issues. Just in the last few months when I set the temperature of my wash, the delay timer sets itself. In order to get the setting I want - usually a cold wash & to start immediately, I need to 'scroll' all the temperature & delay time options - which is very annoying. This is continuing to happen randomly with my washes. I have tried to reset the programmes but to no avail. Also the settings around the dial are wiping off, making some settings difficult to read. Please advise.

Water pressure warning keeps coming during every wash. To trouble shoot replaced new tap and replaced water inlet hose, but still the warning continues.

Child lock key symbol will not turn off. I have followed all instructions to turn it off but nothing has worked. Instead of turning off completely it just stops flashing, then starts flashing again if I try pressing any buttons or turning the dial.

When i try to put on a load to wash, i can select which type of load but when i go to hit the start/pause button, nothing happens. And the red light just flashes off and on. No error codes or anything. What seems to be the issue?

I have a Bosch Avantixx VarioPerfect front loader washer. One of the 'pin' units of the door handle has broken off. A one inch piece of the silver painted plastic molding holding the pin to the door has broken, leaving the door hanging from the bottom pin.

Would I need a whole door replacement or just an outer door molding?

My machine was purchased in 2013 and I was under the impression it was made in Germany - by the sticker saying "German Engineered" Now the bearing is gone and repairs in excess of $800 and I find that the machine was actually made in China, and it is on the way to the dump. I am gutted and so disappointed in what I thought was "Bosch" quality. Why do you not clearly display where the machine is made?

Hi I have a BOSCH AVANTIXX WAP24261AU/02 and it has a very very loud noise when in spin cycle and when I turn the drum by hand it makes a grinding noise.
