I have a problem that has recently developed with my Bosch WAE20262Au/01 washing machine. The machine dies on any cycle after running for a while. After switching the power off for a few minutes, it will come back to life and continue where it was interrupted before failing again after a period of time. Do you have any idea what might be causing this?

Please advise, have a Bosch washing machine Classixx front loader that is down stoped working, im considering buying a second hand Bosch Serie 2, so that when the Serie 2 gets down i can harvest any of them to build one machine. My big question is, are these two machines the same, and their parts are equally the same all around??
Hi My machine still spins but very slowly, any idea's please.
That’s what happened to mine. The cement casing was broken. Had to replace with a new machine.
Thanks.....shopping time lol
How to start washing machine
If you have loaded the clothes and it is ready to go but won’t start when you push the button then it could be the door is not properly closed. Unless it is then it will not start. Happens to me and I just slam the door closed and it will then start.
My Bosch Classixx front loader is 11 years old. We never had any issue till now. When I turn on the machine on any of wash cycles with either warm or cold water it stops working after a few minutes and its screen turns off. Then i have to wait for the door to unlock, turn off the machine and select a program to start all over again. Has anyone else had this issue and know how to fix it? Thanks, Shae from Sydney

My Bosch Classixx front loader is 10 years old. Never had an issue until now. When I turn on a wash cycle with warm water it blows the fuse (RCD). It works fine on cold water wash. Anybody know how to fix this issue? Lu, Perth.
We had the exact same problem. Most likely the drum spider inside your machine has corroded and cracked and the wobbly spinning drum has gouged a groove in the heater element allowing water to enter the element and short out the electrics. So you would need a new drum and spider (can't buy the spider alone) and new heater element. After 10 years, you'd maybe need to replace the bearings too and the shock absorbers. Very expensive all up.
How do I remove the detergent dispenser in this machine?
Hw do open door
The cycle must be finish for easy opening. If you want to stop during a cycle you can stop the cycle and wait several minutes before you can open!
Which compartment of the detergent drawer is compartment 3?
Compartment 2
How do I identify the 3 compartments of the detergent drawer
Hi, my Bosch washing machine has started to leak from underneath it intermittently, so only happening maybe every 4-5 washes. Is there a drain or something underneath Rabat has to be replaced or a hose that may need replacing ???? TIA Bianca
Can you please advise. Had a 6.5kg Bosch Classic xx for so many years and loved it. Left it in the property we sold. Can you advise a comparable front loader to this one. We are a 2 person retired family.
I would say the 8 kg WAN24121AU currently selling for $768.00. My Bosch is 12 years old and is German made which puts the price up but I have been told that even those not advertised as German made still have all the same Bosch components which have been shipped flat packed to be assembled in other countries to keep the price down.
Our Classixx serie 2 purchased in Feb 2013 has been very reliable until last week when the motor failed. I am currently seeking a replacement motor from Bosch under the 10 year warrantee. I will probably need to pay $150 for labour but it is certainly cheaper that replacng the machine which is otherwise fine.
Unfortunatley the machine is an older model and does not qualify.
Just looking for details to do a reset for this machine: WAE20262AU. It's not washing. Machine goes thru cycle, can hear clock/timer clicking as machine "clicks" thru cycles but drum isn't tumbling. Door shuts and seals, water goes in, detergent thingy works fine, drains fine, but the drum aint spinning. There are no error messages. So i want to do a reset before getting out a repairer. can you help?

Hi, does anyone know how to reset a Bosch Serie 2 WAE20262AU?
Mine stopped working - no lights coming on front panel. Checked for error message - held down start button, turned dial one click left to Express 15 min setting. First time I did this got error message E3. Checked door was closed properly. Did check again, this time got 8888.
Can't find any info about this error or how to clear it.
Can anyone help please?

Can you set the cold temperature on permanently?
Hi Jan Jury, Thanks for the question regarding your Bosch washing machine. The washing machine has a heat exchanger which heats the temperature to the required selected function. If you would like to wash clothing in cold water only this will need to be selected at beginning of the cycle. If you need any more help, feel free to contact us on 1300 369 744. What is error code ER5
Hi Lyn McCrostie, Thank you for your question. Just wanted to reconfirm if the correct error code ER5 is correct? We do have a E5 code. If it is E5 then that would indicate that there is an issue with the water intake. We recommend you check that the tap inst closed, the water pressure is correct, or there aren't blockages or kinks in the hose. If everything seems to look fine, then please call into our team on 1300 369 744, and we'll investigate further for you. Kind regards Bosch Home Australia.

We found after thinking, it wasn't pumping out water it may be a fault with the pump. So laid it on its side and took off hoses from pump area. Found a lot of fabric lint huge amount blocking hoses. Put it back together and it is working well. Except when it has towels trying to spin out it gets thumping around. Then stops and try's again to spin. What would abuse this as the springs connecting the big stone on top are connected ok.
