Hello can I use bottled natural gas, not mains piped gas for this hob?

Hi, I am having a similar sounding problem with my 6 burner Bosch cooktop. The cast iron trivets look like they are starting to rust. It is less than 12 months old and I have followed the cleaning instructions in the manual. The black is wearing away and it is disappointing. I have contacted Bosch and sent photos. Am awaiting a response. What was the cleaning product the rep used?
