So I cannot find anything anywhere as to what Bosch are doing to compensate as I also paid $1800 in 2018 and have used it 3 times unsuccessfully
My Bosch series 6 washer won’t start The panel lights up but won’t change when I turn dial to try different choices When I push start button in beeps twice and key flashes If I turn off and back on it ticks 5 times display settles on 40 temp, flashing key 1:00, perfect clock symbol and __ __ __ __ on bottom right for electricity

Biggest piece of crap! Brought machine for $1600 from harvey norman in 08/17.... its blown up. From day 1 it didnt dry clothes, harvey norman kept telling me this was normal not to get clothes dry and i need to air them after. Lint and sludge seem to get into it somehow when it connected to sink drain. It dosnt "self Clean" like its ment to. Now its blown up, and not even 4yrs old! Fair trading stated a $1600 machine should last 10yrs. How dare Bosch rip people off like this, they knew this model was crap, yet still took peoples money. And harvey norman who has passed the buck so many times with no help to even get something done within the warrenty term. Never ever again will i buy a Bosch Applance, even a cheap adli appliance lasts longer then Bosch. so question.... a machine with such low reviews and discontinued, so many people out of pocket because bosch couldnt care less... My question is does Bosch want a class action suit against them? Bosch should refund everyone who brought this piece of crap or replace them! considering they make millions stealing peoples money for dud machines!

Hi this is edited. the machines are great only 2 problem's 1 is no manual for the washing machine given to me.and that the machines only tumble 1 direction that can tangle large items lkike sheets ect.
i bought the latest series 8.with the beautiful disco lights on each dial.did have a problem drying bloankets inb which were aroiund 5kg.so i looked on line someone said to put the dryer on the the time program Warm. and it did the job well.
other than those problems i love them heaps.

HI i cant reply to that link as i do not have gmail ect.i use only OUTLOOK CLASSIC s I only use similar to the old outlook express. so these other dodgy sites like Gmail etc I will not use. When I click your social media link it does not have any option to use my favorite address. I have an old way of looking at things differently I like to stay with what I know.
Anyway, I managed to get the blanket dried. I threw a hairdryer in the dryer. but I couldn't get it to turn the hairdryer worked well though. after all of that I tried putting the dryer on the time program Warm. and it did the job well. of course, I was only joking about the hairdryer.
Now I am faced with another problem. I wanted to read the manuals on the operation of them. and I have not received one of them for the washing machine. is it possible for you good people to send me one? they were unpacked by the delivery guys but only left me the 1 booklet.
I will edit my other write up. as i do like these machines. the best ever.
By the way, I forgot to mention I did another load of washing and drying together. Because they have beautiful bright disco lights in the control panel, I put a boom box in my Laundry put on the Saturday night fever soundtrack had a whiskey, and was dancing still long after the job was finished.
Again joking. of course. I am a bloody miserable person and all I have left in life is a cat a pair of Bosch Disco machines a single bed and only the top set of plastic Dentures and Humor that keeps me going without humor I would be very sad..,
I live in and operate a 24 hour Public Laundromat. and I have a great view of the public TV I have on the wall in the laundromat. so there you go I have everything I need as a single bloke.out of boredom I have been known to go into the main laundromat and occasionally to put $1.00 into a dryer and get in and go for a spin.
By now you are either saying is this person for real?? or saying what's this guy on? to be honest, I'm not on anything.
Now I run a Great Facebook group based on GTV9 Richmond Television City. once the home of Graham Kennedy in Melbourne, The studios were closed down in 2011 and mostly Demolished.many of the old staff and stars are part of this group. almost 2000 members. Now back to the BOSCH MACHINES. I do like them the only main problem is the dryer only turns one way. and with sheets also clothing like jeans slacks they ball up badly.in which cant be too good for items with fragile stitching as in an underlay or long cotton stitched tops.
Now after bragging on and hopefully making some people's eyes pop out as in WHAT THE HELL. I have finally finished. if I can get a book on the washer I will be forever in your debt! I paid over $3175.00 for them as a pair. Well worth the money. so glad i noticed the Disco lights as i almost bought the 6 series and they are nothing like these lights. and i love the idose idea. just 1 other thing i miss my other Machines had musical alarms/sounds where these have a annoying old type beeping.i have to turn them off.

Hi, My bosh Series 6 wash and dry doesn't dry anymore, and the timer jumps around for no reason (programming 40 mins, gets to 36 mins, then back up to 40 mins. Any ideas?

Like a lot of other persons here, o09ur new Serie 8 BOSCH Dryer (<12 months) keeps stopping and is bringing up the ‘Empty the condensation container’. There is nothing in the container, the filter is clean and the unit is set up top automatically drain. The other filter in the door has been cleaned. I have checked and all the hoses to drain are unobstructed. Do you have any suggestions?

I am not happy with my Bosch Condenser dryer WTW87564AU. I cannot find a setting that dries my clothes to perfection. It always feels damp, even when it’s on a setting for a 400 hour cycle. Is this normal? Had I know, I would never have purchased a condenser dryer.

I have had my dryer for about a month. There is a terrible plastic smell. I thought it was from packaging initially but it’s getting worse. I can not operate without keeping laundry door open. Has anyone else experienced this. Bosch and Appliances online have given me the run around. Feeling frustrated. Wish I found these before spending $$$

Hi Bosch, Even though we have the drain pipe correctly installed at the back of the machine, the water tank keeps filling up. (and some water also comes out the drain pipe too) Also, when doing Queen size bed sheets, the machine tends to switch off before the load is fully dry Thanks Ian & Sandra

They told me that for lighter loads you should use the timed setting - i changed mine to a 40 minute warm timed load and my small batches are now finishing and are dry. Is weird the way their sensors work but since I started doing that it's been all good

Im afraid I have nothing good to say about Bosch dryers! We have just written off our 3 year old dryer as a lost cause as it kept doing the same thing. I think in hindsight that the condenser dryers dont work very well in a confined space probably had a big part to play on our issues. Sadly I will never buy another Bosch washer or dryer.
Why does this dryer never complete a cycle? We have had this for around 6 months and has not worked properly since we purchased it. Please advise.
It is a lemon! Unfortunately you should just cut your losses and get something more useful or invest in some strong anti anxiety medication. We have reached out to Bosch for years about this dryer and have given up. Very disappointed.... will never buy a Bosch again.
the most success i've had with it has been when i've stacked BIG loads of washing into it. small loads just stay damp for some fkn reason

My issue appears to be the same as everyone else. I have a Bosch condenser dryer model WTB86200AU. The condensate indicator comes on after a short while and I have to keep restarting the dryer. Ours has a hose to the sink so there is never anything in the condensate container. We always clean the filter after every load, have cleaned the sensors and regularly clean the heat exchanger. I think with this many complaints about the Bosch condenser dryers there is a quality control issue.
Hi Jacinta Sadly I would agree I am also disappointed to have what I thought was a quality brand fail after a relatively short life. I did receive a reply from Bosch stating they would investigate the issue but again sadly it has been over a week and I have heard nothing. Also would have like to think a major company would be concerned about the environment not adding to the amount of items being sent to land fill after only a few years of service and the cost to the environment of purchasing another appliance and associated resources used in its manufacture.

I was asking about a dryer, not a washing machine . This is the wrong thread, I realise , my dryer is model WTW87565AU and it has an “allergy plus “ program . What is special about it that makes it allergy plus ?
I’m asking because I have the active oxygen model Bosch front loading washer , I was wondering if the dryer used the same technology .

I have a wtw87565 condenser dryer. Current issue is that it stops 5 minutes into a cycle saying the water tray needs emptying. I’ve cleaned it, moisture sensor, and filters - but with no luck. Please advise

Never Ending Problems... Drip Light now On. This Bosch Dryer has nearly sent me to a lunatic asylum. I live in a very wet part of North Qld, and rely heavily on a dryer. Last year I decided to pay a lot more money for a dryer to get a more energy efficient option. In a little more than 12 months I have had two control panels replaced ( under warranty) Now the drip in the tray light is coming on. The instruction/ trouble shooting manual is useless. Says clean filters, sensor and empty water tray, done all that. I can honestly say this expensive machine is the most complicated unreliable piece of crap I have ever had to deal with. as well as the UK helpline that was unhelpful and failed to pass on a service request. Bosch never put in service request to a local electrician Trouble with machine. Things you need to be aware off before purchase. 1. This machine is very slow compared to conventional dryers. 2. Absolutely hopeless at drying sheets. ( no reverse cycle). No specific sheet cycle. Rolls in a ball. 3. Washing never feels dry is usually quite wet. 4. In the tropics I need to just finish off drying with a short blast of intense heat. You cannot adequately do this with this machine. 5. It is far too complicated. Do not need all those options for living in the damp tropics. Thank You Paula Upham

Paula.... I completely agree! I paid 1800$ for a dryer that is 1 week old and has the same issue. Terrible machine
Me too - not the best experience in my household as well. We are giving up and buying another dryer . Total waist on $1800.
I have also experienced problems with my Bosch dryer, the technician wants over $650 to repair the dryer, with no guarantee the repair will actually fix the problem - I contacted Bosch direct who sadly were disinterested in my experience - the dryer has had minimal use. Never buy Bosch again - Better to pay for a Miele and get great customer service.
