What will it happen if I had apply on my baby body from nearly 8month? I just got read that shouldn’t apply on baby skin but I did cos my mom say can use .....

Hi Penny
No, this is not suitable for applying to the skin while pregnant. We know a lot more now about eucalyptus oil than we did years ago and many of the traditional uses are no longer considered safe.
Just out of curiosity why would you apply it? Perhaps we can suggest an alternative.
Kind Regards, Carla from Bosisto's.

What ratio eucalyptus oil:water do I use to make a antiseptic spray suitable for kitchen benches. The bottle does not mention quantity of water needed for any of the listed uses.

Hi Lyn
Everyone likes a different ratio! Our favourite recipe is in this link, but personally we'd add a capful (or maybe two) to the mix rather than a few drops. The little bit of dish detergent is the key to keeping the oil and water/ vinegar mixed. :) https://www.stayathomemum.com.au/houseandhome/diy-cleaning-products/cleaning-the-natural-way-eucalyptus-oil/

Your previous answer to a question stated not to use Eucalyptus oil “neat” does that apply to the spray Eucalyptus oil as the label says to apply on insect bites? I’ve had a mozzie nite under my arm that the spray has been helping me with

Hi Vanessa
I'm not sure which answer you're referring to - can you clarify?. Adults are fine to use eucalyptus oil (or spray) neat on their skin, as directed on the label. It's only an issue for children. Hope this helps! Kind Regards, Bosisto's
spaikasked
I bought 500ml Bosistos Eucalyptus oil on ebay and found that everything on the label suggests it was coming from the original company in australia, however the contact details list a number in Thailand (+66xxxxxx)
How can I tell the difference between the australian and the asian?
1 answer
Customer ServiceBosisto's
Hi spaik
The difference is in the labelling. This is the company who have the trademark for the Bosisto's brand in Asia and does not contain Australian eucalyptus oil http://www.bosistos.com/en/home
You can see on their "Contact Us" page that they are based in Bangkok.
This is the Bosisto's brand which contains Australian oil and is 100% manufactured in Australia https://www.bosistos.com.au/product/bosisto-s-eucalyptus-oil-12
You can see it's really quite different - and the contact details down the bottom are in Oakleigh South, Victoria Australia. Home of Bosisto's since Joseph Bosisto first bottled eucalyptus oil at Dandenong Creek Victoria in 1852.
Unfortunately we cannot sell our eucalyptus oil under the Bosisto's brand name overseas due to the trademark issue, which is complex. However, it is sold under the name Euky Bear, if you are looking for a product with genuine Australian-grown oil. Here is Euky Bear Malaysia website: http://www.eukybear.com.my/
Hope this helps, and let me know if you have any further questions.
Kind Regards, Bosisto's.

EveEveasked
Can it be applied to the body n face?
1 answer
Customer ServiceBosisto's
Hi EveEve
You should never apply 100% pure essential oils "neat" to your skin or face. This is suitable to be diluted in a carrier oil, such as jojoba, coconut or Vitamin E oil at around 2% - so 98% carrier oil to 2% eucalyptus oil. For children or babies, it should be 1%. Here's a handy article on essential oil dilution for your information. https://www.aromaweb.com/articles/dilutingessentialoils.asp

Chingasked
Is it safe for babies ?
2 answers
Customer ServiceBosisto's
Hi Ching,
Can you explain what method of use you are enquiring about?
In general, you should not use pure essential oils at all under 12 months of age. After that, very small amounts can be used in a carrier oil, or say a chest rub or diffused into the air, but this is dependent on a number of factors. Eucalyptus Oil should be used with caution with young children and never applied directly on the skin of babies.
Kind Regards,
Bosisto's.
