When we turn the temperature dial, no matter the function, it will only go to lower setting no way to increase temperature settings.

owned the oven for a couple years, It has started shutting off with no input, screen goes blank, will sometimes reset by pushing on/off button, convection button seems to cause problem, sometimes it will work through cooking cycle. Seems to be getting worse. High pitched buzzing when it stops working? Doesn't sound like a fuse as the issue is intermittent.

I have a model BOV845 that I have had about 2 years. Just a bit ago I was reheating food in the oven, and suddenly it is tripping my circuit breaker. Is this a known issue? I am deeply frustrated and disappointed that this is happening.
My Breville BOV845 model temperature won't go up on bake? It starts at 350, but when I turn the temperature knob, either way, it just goes down to 120. I have had it awhile but only used it twice. Any idea why this happens? I have unplugged it and tried again with the same result.
Why is my convection cooking turned so loud, that I can not use for that purpose. I have the The BOV845 model, and only have it for over a year. I have been trying to contact Breville directly, for months, but there is no respond. You either stay on the phone for hours, and get tired and leave no. for call back. When they call back, no one is on the other end. Pretty sad, how bad is this product that the support is so overwhelmed? No Q&A on websites, chat line is grayed out. Regret buying this over rated product! I have a Delonghi forever, which was still working when I replaced it with Breville.
Can you please advise if the issue with the fan failing has been resolved in your current model.

Hi Sally - Sounds like you might have inadvertently selected the Celsius temperature scale. Try pressing the small button just under the “Function” dial marked with a “C/F” on it to toggle between Celsius and Fahrenheit. Hope this helps.
How long is the warranty on this oven please
Two years. (Note: If available from your retailer, do yourself a favor and get an extended warranty also). As many have attested whilst this is a brilliant appliance it does appear to have systemic problem with the convection fan.
Thank You, now I have to find the receipt. Checked visa so is within the 2 years. It's the convection fan, sounds like a jet taking off.
If you've got your VISA statement try taking it back to the retailer and see if they'll honor it based on what you've got. They may even be able to track it down for you on their own computerized system. No harm in trying.
Yep the fan gets vert noisy, then after a while ours just stopped altogether.
Funnily enough if I give it a good whack with my fist on the top of the oven right above the fan a couple of times the fan starts spinning again - sometimes for 5 minutes sometimes for a couple of days. Go figure. LOL. Good luck.
Have had our BOV845 for just under 4 years and has operated perfectly during that time. Being a mature couple we use it for 90% of our baking, roasting, grilling and toasting needs and it gets used pretty much on a daily basis. We take very good care of the unit making sure it is cleaned both inside AND out at least every 4 weeks and still looks in near brand new condition. Unfortunately like many other reports here, last week our ovens convection fan stopped working which is VERY disappointing. Still deciding whether to live with having no fan capabilities, to purchase a new unit or to try a completely different brand. Wondering weather the Breville have addressed the obvious issue with problem with the internal fan in their more recent model?
Not sure about the new model. We are still using the unit with a noisy fan. Since unit is out of warranty, we have not contacted Breville. It appears to be a known problem, a friend of ours has the same oven and the fan is also noisy. Was OK for the first 12 months.
I purchased a breville 845 oven and really like how it performs.....Except. I had to have it replaced due to a noisy convection fan. They were great about handling the replacement. The new replacement oven worked flawlessly for a day then started making the convection fan noise. It sounds like something is loose and makes a vibrating sound. The first oven lasted almost a year before this problem began. The replacement oven only lasted one day before it started making the noise. Is there an engineering update or supplier change or upgrade to address this ongoing issue? It seems to be a fault with this oven based on my experience and other reviews online. The other "Weakness" that has been noted although, I did not experience it, is the fuse that seems to degrade due to time and temperature. This is a great oven if it proved to be more reliable. Same problem and a friend of mine has the same problem as well. Noisy fan. It is now out of warranty and I will just try and ignore the noise. Still works OK though.
Breville BOV845 -- for bake setting, timer is stuck at 30 minutes. Won't adjust. Oven will reach temperature and then start count down but I cannot change the time setting either up or down. For other setting the same thing happens...timer stays at preset time and won't adjust.
Need help.

Hi Pat, I haven't actually had this problem, but I have found Breville to be absolutely excellent when it comes to replacing faulty products. Get in touch with the supplier from whom you bought the machine, and give them your receipt number and they'll fix it or replace it.
