Which Burgen bread is best for type 2 diabetis?
Rye Bread
The only bread I eat is Dark Rye. Why is Canola oil which is a GM product used in the production of Burgen Rye bread?. Most health and diet conscious people would prefer a non GM oil such as sunflower.
Probably the cheapest option is to use the GM oil. Since I reviewed this Rye bread I have actually given up all foods containing gluten, and have never felt better. Most of the grain based oils are not all that healthy either , better to stick with Olive oil or Macadamia oil. Better to avoid all the cakes, breads, biscuits, etc than end up obese or worse!
I agree. Food producers are putting consumers last when it comes to health. NO to GM oils and light fluffy non nutritious bread.
