Then we met Monique for our selections who was so patient with us as we bumbled through making all of our selections. Thank you for your patience, kindness and vision as we tried to make good choices! Never will you make so many choices again, in the space of 3hrs! We were referred to the Brownies Group for our electrical appointment. The ladies at Brownies were fantastic. They really know their stuff, and were gentle with us! Everything from how many lights we would need, the best location for switches to ways we could keep to budget and future-proof our build. Much appreciated, ladies.

final inclusion list. We didn't receive that vibe from any of the sales consultants of other builders. Thank you, Hayley Fulton for your amazing help for understanding our requirements, ideas while selecting inclusions and offering your professional expertise in designing our dream home. We are also grateful to Bhagya for her swift actions with the building approvals and follow ups. On the other side, the selection of bricks within the standard range was quite limited for us, and choosing options outside of this range significantly increases the cost. Upgrades of the inclusions tend to be costly even with the discounts offered. The quality of work appears exceptional compared to the other builders when we went through multiple display homes. We are in the pre-construction stage. We are happy so far and excited to see our building journey.

ceiling gyprock is sagging, and the secondary alarm panel was never connected. Although Burbank sent contractors during the defect liability period, the work was never completed, leaving unpainted patchwork visible throughout the house. Despite following up for over a year, we received no further communication from Burbank. Since most of these issues were cosmetic, my parents reluctantly decided to move on.

However, five years after handover, a more serious issue has emerged. The waterproofing in the ensuite has failed, causing water damage to the door frames and leaking into the ground floor ceiling. A leak detection specialist confirmed elevated moisture levels beneath the tiles, with possible further damage that can’t be assessed without removing them.

I contacted Burbank in September 2024 with the leak report, but they have continuously delayed taking responsibility. Each of my follow-up emails goes unanswered for weeks. It has now been over eight months, and the ensuite remains unusable, with no resolution or repair timeline in sight.

This experience has been deeply frustrating and disappointing. I would strongly caution others against building with Burbank.

Lea has been absolutely amazing throughout this whole experience. Being a first home buyer it was all new to me and I didn’t know all the ins and outs but Lea has always been contactable and supportive throughout! Super fast with replies and even after hours she will email back or shoot me a text. Cannot recommend Burbank and Lea enough. Dont trust them for the building works especially post settlement works. I had my house hand over in july 2021 and till date my 90 days maintenance work is pending.. sent them numerous email for status update but had no response.. one of the bathroom have levelling issues which is a serious concern… would avoid them due lack of communication and not care about their customers.. Show details

limited in choice but this seems common across project builds. The designers we worked with were great at providing advice for the look we were after. The drawing team were wonderful at making all our required changes (there were a lot due to our complications with stormwater and DA to CDC change). Once demolition happened construction started prompty and the construction process was very smooth. Our site supervisor Jordan was awesome, he gave us regular updates and informed us of any delays. He was professional, friendly and honest. Most delays were out of Burbank's control including when we hit rock. As this was a big provisional variation they called us into head office to discuss the options and estimated cost increase. Once rock issues were resolved the slab was laid and then the build could move forward. Burbank had lined up all the trades and materials and we had a no issues with progress. They were happy to let our private inspector do their job on the various stages and responded to any defects identified. When we did our PCI Burbank were able to address all our defects (including those of the inspection company) and we felt confident when it came to making a final payment. While the build process is a game of patience and many stakeholders, overall we are happy with our experience with Burbank NSW/ACT and would be happy to recommend them to a friend or family.

at the start of our planning was exceptional and she went to a great effort answering all of our questions and was always really quick to get back to us.

A recommendation for Burbank to consider would be to have a 'checklist' for clients outlining what needs to be provided to complete the pre-construction stage. (Ie. letters from the bank, proof of cash if partial of the payment is being paid with cash). Whilst it's not the end of the world, it did feel like we would provide something as requested, to then get another email requesting another document. An upfront checklist would've been really helpful to enable us to have everything organised and ready to go, and could have eliminated the back and forth, particularly at the back end of the pre-construction stage.

Overall, my partner and I are really happy with Burbank's service so far!

Supervisor Randall – A True Professional During the construction phase, Randall stood out as a dedicated and meticulous professional. He ensured that every stage was completed to high-quality standards, with great attention to detail. His regular progress updates, both via email and SMS, kept us well-informed, while his prompt responses to our inquiries reassured us throughout the journey.

Randall also maintained site cleanliness after each stage, demonstrating his commitment to organization and efficiency. His ability to accommodate our schedule changes made the experience more flexible and convenient. While some of our requests—such as allowing external tradesmen for mirror and pendant light installations—could not be accommodated due to reasonable risk concerns, we appreciate his transparency and adherence to best practices.

Defect Liability Period & Further Feedback As we are currently going through the three-month defect liability period, we look forward to seeing how any identified defects are addressed. We appreciate Randall’s and the Builder’s commitment to ensuring that any necessary fixes are completed efficiently, and we will provide further feedback based on our experience during this phase.

Final Thoughts From pre-construction planning to final handover, our journey with Burbank has been overwhelmingly positive. The Sales Team’s excellent guidance and Supervisor Randall’s professionalism and warm attitude made the process seamless.

We truly appreciate the team’s hard work, commitment, and customer-centric approach, ensuring that our home was delivered on time and to high-quality standards. While there were minor aspects we wished could have been accommodated, the overall experience was exceptional.
