He was incredibly efficient, proactive, and ensured the build was completed ahead of schedule. Even when minor issues arose, his communication and follow-up were top-tier. Areas for Improvement: Admin & Gallery Unfortunately, the middle of the process was frustrating. The Admin phase lacked proactive communication; we felt we had to push constantly for updates. We actually know people who chose other builders specifically because of delays in Burbank’s admin department. The Gallery/Design appointment was also a disappointment. We received very little creative input, and several promised items were missed in the final documents, which became impossible to change once construction began. Additionally, the selection felt dated; we actually saw more variety when we built our first home six years ago. Summary We are very grateful for the professionalism and effort shown by Akshay and Tom. If the Admin and Gallery teams can match the standard set by Sales and Construction, the experience would be world-class.

Our site manager, Thomas Hajko, was highly experienced and kept us well informed at every stage of the build. His communication and attention to detail made the entire process smooth.

We completed our final inspection two weeks ago and were truly impressed with the build quality and workmanship. Now that we’ve moved in, we’re enjoying every aspect of our new home.

Site supervisor: Ilche Tarashovski, Who maintained excellent communication throughout the build and was always available to answer any questions. The build time was impressively fast – our home (43sqa) was completed in under eight months His expertise and guidance made the process incredibly smooth and stress-free for us. Ilche, was always proactive with regular updates, responsive to our queries, and very flexible whenever we wanted to visit the site to see the progress. Even the few minor requests we had were addressed promptly and without any issues. The outcome is amazing,

Customer Coordinator: Simon Vuu is always helpful accepted changes we were looking for and keeps me updated for everything i needs to be.

Areas to Improve: Admin work was really slow. Whenever there is change request, admin takes very long to update the designs or to sign the documents. Even for a small change. We had a situation one of our selected tiles were discontinued and we were forced to choose alternate tiles (Outcome was really satisfactory) with the help of Ilche and Simon re-selected and installed. But, admin team contacted me to choose the alternate option after couple of weeks of installation :) I hope Burbank will definitely improve to speed the admin work.

sounded very promising everything will be taken care of. We then had few appointments with the heating company to get things sorted. We then faced issue with manhole which Burbank have installed in the garage roof. During windy days, the manhole cover gets pulled off causing very loud sounds at night, waking up. We reported this issue within a month's time after handover but they asked to wait until 90 day period. Apparently, the issue is due, the location of manhole in a un-insulated area and the outside wind enters the garage and pulls off the light weight cover. Now Burbank says, everything is built as per standard and Burbank is not responsible for this issue as the manhole is placed as per signed documents. As as common man, we entrust the structural design with the builders, obviously we are not best placed to tell where all these have to be located unless I am a builder myself. They simply washed off their hands saying just place some weight on top the lid. The tenant is also complaining about house insulation and that its takes very long time to heat up the rooms (Its single storey 4BHK), which the heating company had already reported that, they see gaps in the roof. Now all these are as per standard for Burbank. As their consulting, design and construction stages were all smooth, we simply trusted them , expecting the same experience after handover. But, it's very disappointing, that after multiple follow ups that they finally kind enough to suggest an option that to install some weights on top of the man hole cover. So if you are building with Burbank, this is what you can expect post handover. Sharing the experience here, so that whoever building with them can take care of these things and not to trust the builder completely.

completion but again they were dealt with in a timely manner. All the upgrades we requested have been fantastic. For example porcelain bench tops, spilt systems and heat pump hot water system.

If I could give Burbank zero stars, or even negative stars, I would. Building with them has been a traumatic experience that has caused nothing but "nightmares and heart attacks." The only "bright spot" was the salesperson, [Name Removed], who was helpful during the initial sale. But do not be fooled, this is where the professionalism ends. Once they have your money, the service collapses into total chaos.

The Pre-Slab Disaster: The negligence began early. My assigned contact [Name Removed] (Supervisor) didn't even bother to meet or greet me. He provided the wrong date for the critical pre-slab inspection. I paid for an independent inspector and took time off work to be at the site, only to find the slab had already been poured. Money and a crucial inspection opportunity went straight down the drain due to their sheer incompetence.

[Name Removed] (Supervisor): A Pathological Liar: In my opinion, he is a pathological liar and an extremely careless professional. It felt like his only goal was to rush shoddy work through so he could collect his cut from the company.

The Broken Promises: He promised a chemical wash to remove leftover cement from the walls. Five months later, the mess is still there.

The Handover Scam: He promised to return the day after handover to clean. He never showed up.

Solar Failure: He failed to demonstrate how the hot water electric solar panel works. Five months post-handover, it remains non-operational. I am being forced to pay exorbitant electricity bills because of their refusal to fix this, despite numerous reach-outs. Burbank is now asking me to reach out to the supplier to fix this issue, when they are the ones that needs to fix it.

Dangerous & Cheap Materials: The quality of materials is appalling. They installed the cheapest, most dangerous kitchen sink I have ever seen. It has sharp edges that have literally cut fingers and caused injuries while working in the kitchen. When I raised this "death trap" and numerous other defects during the post-handover inspection, the supervisor, [Name Removed], displayed a completely non-chalant, "don't care" attitude. They refuse to replace it, lazily putting the onus on the manufacturer while ignoring the fact that they installed a safety hazard in my home.

The Verdict: Burbank is overpriced and delivers a defective product compared to any other builder in the market. They are completely indifferent to the safety and satisfaction of their clients once the keys are handed over.

My advice? If you value your peace of mind, do not let these people near your life savings. See the attached photos for the "quality" you can expect. Stay far, far away from this company and the names mentioned above.

I will update here soon about the DBDRV complaint I am going to make and hoping to drag them to Consumer protection authority for compensation and fixing the pending works.
