i’m board credit so you don’t get a refund. We get to Morton Island too dangerous to get off the boat. You book all your excursions and you get it as credit on boredand the cloud nine spa. There’s a service fee and a cancellation fee. Just be aware of that. so basically they make their money on board. You don’t need you don’t get a refund of anything. You spend all your credit on board. That’s how they make you spend your money. Not happy about that. Just be aware.
Why would some pay the same as everyone else, with balconies and get shoved ond on deck 4. On the first 3 days spend 2 hours a day at the so called customer service des ( ha ) and there idea of entertainment was trivia, why would anyone pay for that, I know I won’t be ever again

As a prolific cruiser I am confused as to how Carnival thinks they can attract new customers like myself or expect repeat business with reviews like this. Glad I read these reviews before considering Carnival. Thanks to all those who shared their experiences and saved me from a possible miserable holiday.
Alcoholic drink package is $119/day and all adults must get it. So 2 adults In 1 cabin on 18 night cruise is $4284. Carnival customer support can’t give me the price of a beer on spirit. 15 drinks in the package is $7.90 each if you drank your full entitlement every day (heaven help my liver!!). Anyone know how much a beer is on Spirit??
A pint or large can of Heineken is $8.50 so you would need to drink 14 pints per day! A margarita is about $12 if I remember correctly. You would have to drink a lot to make it worthwhile! I spent about $1,600 for a family of 3 over 12 nights and had plenty to drink, bought stuff in shops, went to the casino etc. That drink package is so expensive!
15 drinks per day is a lot. We just came back off carnival.for 7 nights. Did not take drinks package as we drink about 6 drinks per day.
Don’t get me wrong I couldn’t drink 15 drinks every day for 15 days but hubby is Scottish so... the cap on the package is 15 alcoholic drinks per day and all adults in cabin need to get it if 1 wants it. At $8.50 a pint I think we’ll go on pay as you go. Maybe some days he will drink 15 pints but not likely every day and I certainly won’t!! Carnival customer support refused to give each price so I couldn’t work out if the package was expensive. It certainly seemed a lot to me!!

The maximum number of alcoholic drinks you can purchase is 15, however you may find that depending on the price of what you drink you may find that you may see the benefits after less drinks and if you keep drinking to the max then you will only be increasing that with free drinks. For example you would only need 10 cocktails at $12.00 a pop or 14 Beers at $8.50 a pop. but if you also factor in juice and water then the number of alcoholic drinks needed to make the most of it would drop. It is a shame it does not include specialty coffee and I don't know all the prices as we are yet to sail, but I am interested as to it's value. Also I see you get a number of discounts, which again contribute to savings in the long run. However say you grab a couple of bottles of water at $4.00 each, book a class which costs $25 but save 25% have a juice at $4.00, then through the course of the day 3 beers at $8.50 each, 2 cocktails at $12.00 each, a glass of wine at $9.00 and a night cap at $9.00 your total spend only comes out at $85.75, no where near the $119.00. But I am only guessing on the prices. and having drunk this much you will be frequenting the restrooms.

Yes aud $ 5.50 for a large latte. Can make one Lido deck as well they are ok too.

There is a cost items vary from around 4 -7$ for food from 3$ upwards for drinks tea coffee and others more costly.

why do Carival cruises keep RIPING OFF Australians on their drinks packages .Their web site caters for Americans it gives them a much cheaper drinks package after conversion, we can't take a bottle of wine onboard BUT you can in America'their web page talks in fluid ounces .WE ARE AUSTRALIANS

Lots of cruisers said its better to pay by the glass unless your a person that likes to consume alot of alcohol daily. Seems alot of people drink less than the daily drinks allowance. Can get water, tea, coffee's hot choc, lemon drinks and island tea on Lido din8ng deck for free.

Hi. Soft drink package about $8 per day. No alcohol package... you buy as you go. The soft drink package you can buy onboard. Very hard to drink $8 of coke each day as the soft drink is cheap anyway. Best not to buy the drink package IMO. There is unlimited free coffee, orange juice, icecream softserve and yogurt anyway in cones or cups and the water was pure and with ice... it was fantastic but easy to stack on a few kg.Try the Green Thunder cocktail.... brilliant. No money changes hands. Your boarding pass does it all. Very well thought out. Enjoy!!!

We would usually only drink Tea, Water and Alcoholic Beverages with Meals, by the pool or socially in the evening. Hence curious on prices for wine and beer.

Not sure on price but I can tell you a salesman called JAUN that works in funshop took my bracelet and necklace back to have it replaced that was June 2019 and still haven’t received it back he’s a thief

Booked in for cruise to New Caledonia and Vanuatu, we are going to Noumea, Vila, Santos, Isle of Pines and Mare. Are there any places that you can just get off the boat (wonder about) and not have to pay for offshore excursions??
Vanuatu or Isle of Pines you can get off ship just ask your cruise Ship Staff when your on the cruise
On mare and Isle of pines you can walk off the tender and walk around. On Isle of pines you can walk over to a few different beaches. Unfortunately when we were there there were sea snakes in the water. You need to watch out for them. Snorkeling was fantastic. At mare there is a swimming hole right at the tender drop off. Lots of colour ful fish too.
