Carpet Court Hybrid Flooring

snapped extensively throughout almost all rooms. The root cause appears to be inadequate preparation of the concrete slab subfloor, which was confirmed by their own installer.

Despite repeated emails and calls over many months, the company failed to provide timely resolutions. Promises of inspections and fixes were made but never followed through. Even after acknowledging the issues, Carpet Court insisted on additional payments before addressing the problems, despite the product being defective.

Under Australian Consumer Law, Carpet Court is responsible for remedying major failures. However, they refused to accept full responsibility, offering only a partial refund of $2,002 (from a $6,460 deposit) and requiring removal and disposal at my expense.

While the tone of their emails suggested willingness to help, their actions did not match. The process was stressful, drawn out, and left us with damaged flooring and unresolved issues for over two years. Summary: I cannot recommend Carpet Court Gepps Cross. Poor workmanship, lack of accountability, and inadequate customer service have caused significant strain. If you value quality and reliability, look elsewhere.

Extremely poor service from the Bunbury Carpet Court - management/the owner have been virtually impossible to contact (except to send me the invoice from a business email not related to Carpet Court). because the flooring product on the whole is lovely, but the edges are still not completed (plus some wobbly room dividers) and the overall difficulties with communication have really soured the experience.

Dunlop hybrid flooring is not fit for purpose. According to manufacturer you are unable to install under floor insulation below it, so it goes directly onto concrete. Perfect! – Carpet Court Ferntree gully was the best! We had been waiting for a sample of the color we wanted from others, but after waiting 3 weeks with excuse after excuse we went to Carpet court. We showed Michael the Hybrid we were after, and we just left, and Michael rang us within a minute saying he could get the Hybrid we were after. WOW! Floor was all completed in a week. Faulty Product and Carpet Court Gepps Cross not replying – We had Artloc hybrid flooring laid in December by carper court and their installer. it was fine when he laid it. We rang carpet court Gepps cross who took weeks to organise an inspection with the manufacturer. It has been 10 weeks and counting since Carpet court and the manufacturer have been out and we still call everyday with no answer 'yet'. They told us it would take 4 weeks to get back to us. We continue to call every day with little help from the owner if he even returns our calls at all. I have 3 friends currently building houses and have advised them all against going through carpet court because once they sell you the product, they cannot be bothered to deal with you anymore.

Disappointed – Bought Sunplank Hybrid Flooring back in 2019 and apart from all the hassles at the time of putting them down I am so disappointed. I was told it was great for dogs and won't scratch that is a load of rubbish. Used to have large white tiles and thought they were difficult to keep clean but these don't look good at any time, everything marks them.

Amazing from start to finish – We had difficulty matching existing flooring to the flooring for our downstairs in a new property purchased. Ben went above and beyond to not only source the product yet find the time to give a prompt quote and then book in the job the following week. Elements Hybrid Flooring Colour Pumice – I've had this down in the living areas and bedroom for 4 months now and very pleased. It's advertised as pet friendly and the way it's constructed it is scratch resistant and dirt resistant. Very easy to keep clean - just a dry dust mop/sweep once a week - only needs a mop with just a minimum of water if there is moisture with dirt deposited. … Read more ·  1

I recently did a mortar and grouting job in the attached garage and managed to track of lot of the dust onto the flooring. Just a sweep and light mop did the job to clear it and no scratching evident. Update: 2 yrs later, seems to be holding up just fine. I did manage to gouge a deep scratch dragging heavy furniture with a sharp piece of stone stuck under it. Gently scraped the gouge to remove damaged bits. Cleaned it up with a dry microfibre cloth; drew along the scratch with a black white marker pen, wiped excess off with cloth - can't take a photo because I can't even see the scratch now. Still pleased with the product.

We love our new floors – We purchased Integra 8 flooring from the Campbelltown store. Our installers Ryan and Nathan did a fantastic job laying the floors, and made sure we were looked after. Dunlop hybrid vinyl flooring not a good product – I purchased the Dunlop 6 mm hybrid vinyl plank flooring last year and overall I would not recommend this product. Key reasons being: 1. Product is very brittle and when I collected the boxes from the retailer around 50% of the plans has broken edges and had to be returned and swapped for replacement ones (many of these were also broken but… Read more

overall I had enough planks to finish the job); 2. Click lock joint system isn't great and often makes a clicking sound when you walk over it as it pops back into position. On the positive side, it was easy to work with and cut to fit around cupboard kickboards with an angle grinder and it does seem to be hard wearing.

NB. This review is about the product not the retailer. Carpet Court were very good and arranged for replacement planks at no cost.

False advertising – I purchased my Victoria Pinnacle Action Traction Pet friendly flooring from Carpet Court Bankstown from Chris 18months ago for a cost of $9000. It have had nothing but trouble. i purchased this particular produect as i have 2 large dogs and I did not want them slipping. They slip all the time and cannot get traction. record the dogs slipping and I told them I do everything to prevent them getting hurt! Their contractor did not prepare my floor correctly (which I paid seperately and additionally) so they needed to lift half the floor to correct. They then laid a different color floor (which they told me would be the same). So in my kitchen and back room half the floor is different to the original. They say its the same, however have offereed me $250 compensaton for the difference. I don't want their $250 I want my floor to match all over. This matter will now be going legal. Chris was advised of this but does not care. Take my advise and do not call Carpet Call.

Recommended wrong floor type for my business – Approximately 2.5 years ago we had a vinyl plank floor installed in our hair salon. It was dark grey and now has a brown look to it. The “sales rep” clearly sold us the wrong type of flooring for a hair salon. We need to mop daily - not recommended We use a rubber broom - not recommended. recommended . We have now got rubber mats around chair etc to cover the multiple stains and cracked/ peeling boards - also not recommended. Clearly this floor was not installed properly and perhaps should have been sealed? Who knows? Clearly the wrong choice for a hairdressing salon. Have tried to contact the store many times as this all started happening in the first 6 months and the last ( and pretty much only response) communication was in September (2020). Have heard nothing since . Will not recommend this product and extremely disappointed in the whole experience.
