cement, rubble. Did not even vacuum final mess after carpet install. Still finding nails. Damaged brand new fridge. Washed glue down laundry and kitchen sinks rather than their external buckets. Still trying to get glue marks off floors and sinks! Nothing noted on invoices or quotes regarding additional furniture charges! Watched me move furniture inclusive of two beds weighing 80 kilos each due to their resentment of not being paid additional cash in hand. Additional to $25k spend???? Very poor all round communications from front office, to install co ordinator, to install, to owner. I have heart disease and a pacemaker. Frightening to think how they treat elderly folk. Poor service. Definitely not worth it, definitely bad for the Camaro ‘luxury’ product, and definitely took the excitement out of a once in a lifetime floor upgrade. Tried to resolve, but all those originally friendly, ‘can do anything’ folk have gone silent. Definitely felt more like a worker than a customer.

Bathroom Renovation Nightmare – Don’t deal with Carpet Court South Hedland paid BIG $$$$ for a bathroom renovation bad owner / store. Worst experience ever - do not trust – WARNING - DO NOT TRUST CARPET COURT CHATSWOOD. They totally mislead me into signing with them to install flooring in an investment apt I own. They ripped up half the existing flooring, then said I had to pay $150 per bag to level the slab which equaled nearly $4000. When I queried the price they walked off the job, refused to call me back and left… Read more
me without flooring. I then complained to [name removed] the CEO for carpet court after I looked for alternative quotes and discovered the real price is $75 per bag to level a floor. Basically they rip up the floor and leave you with no choice but to pay $150 a bag which is double the real cost. Massively deceptive. After we had the job done by an alternative contractor they refused to return calls and we had to organise another trade to install. Now I am chasing for compensation and the CEO for Carpet Court is non responsive. We are now talking the matter to ACCC and Fair Trading for deceptive and misleading conduct. If you need need flooring stay well away from these guys biggest bunch of con men in the game. Worst experience ever.

Pick your installer if you can – Our installer was [Name Removed]. Two floors later, back for 3rd attempt to rectify was abused after I pointed out poor workmanship. Two other installers had to fix. Read T&C's it covers things such as damage you need to be aware of. Our dealings were also with owner [Name Removed]. The 10 month experience was horrible with was an estimated 5 day job for the 100sqm job. The pictures really do paint a picture.

purchase. Floors started lifting within a few months. Mum reported it well within the 12 months. To which complex management responded to twice but failed to do anything. A couple of months later mum was diagnosed with a terminal illness which requires the use of a walker. Hence needing the floors sorted immediately. My elderly mum’s flooring is separating after less than 12 months of owning her new home. Property management and CC Browns Plains are all wiping their hands. My mum is terminally ill and they don’t care if she is tripped up by the flooring lifting n separating. Everyone is passing the buck and throwing each other under the bus. Use another company. Manager of Browns Plains also extremely rude and disrespectful and passive aggressive in his attitude towards women. Seriously save yourself the hassle and go elsewhere. Cheap cheap products used to pretend it’s expensive absolute complete waste of time - tiles would have been so much better.

Terrible experience with Carpet Court Chadstone – Nothing installed, instead we got our apartment completely in disarray, almost inhabitable with moved furniture and the floor that should be fixed. totally faulty and had to be removed (Carpet Court refused to remove levelling and proposed only the options where the damage to our floor created by Carpet Court installers to be fixed by us, and refusing to pay for the damage created). Our balcony was damaged as well - the installers walked over tiles with the showers dirty in levelling compound, so now the tiles are all in cement. Furniture removal wasn’t done professionally – it was done in parallel with old carpet removal, which led to having all furniture (including chairs and sofa) covered in dust from the old carpet underlay. The laminate boards and underlay have been damaged due to the delivery done without the due care. I lost 2 weeks of my working time as my home office space was totally unusable due to delays created by the Carpet Court installers.
The store manager [Name Removed] refused to refund us anything unless we take full liability for the damages created by Carpet Court installers, including the damages to the apartment below ours that occurred because of works done without due skills and care. The installers brought cement compound, but made out of it very thin fluid (almost like milk) – the instructions on the bag tell that it should be 4,5l of water for the whole 20kg bag, but they used 5-10L of very hot water (a lot of steam from the bucket) and approx. 1/3 of the bag. They mixed the compound only within few seconds, it wasn't really smooth when they pour the mixture on the floor and in some places they even added some compound powder on the top of the fluid pools on the floor... To level it they used a part of laminate board, see photo. This not only led to the leak through the ceiling of the apartment below (I suppose a part of the issue was that they haven't started with sealing cracks and perimeter), but also impacted the properties of the levelling: as per instructions on the bag it should be touch-dry and walkable in 2h, but even today (after more than 20h) it isn’t fully cured – some places are wet. Laminate cannot be laid on this – the levelling compound must be fully cured and totally dry first. [Name Removed] tried to insist that everything is ok and the laminate should be laid now, as otherwise "he is busy and has time only today and tomorrow", so if we don't do it now then the second half of the apartment will be finished in some months (which is also unacceptable). I contacted Ardex and Kronotex, their technical support highlighted that the proper proportion of the mixture is critical and that it's incorrect to put laminate before the cement compound is fully cured and totally dry. As we disagreed to put laminate on the wet concrete, [Name Removed] walked off the job completely - leaving floor more uneven than before, with a lot of 10-15mm bumps/cement rocks.
There were also other issues like bringing 2 less packages of laminate than as per order (brought the rest only when we pointed on the issue), breaking laminate boards to use pieces for levelling, the quote had initially only 7 days warranty on the works (instead of promised 12 months, then the shop fixed the quote), etc.
