The team at Cavalier walked me through every step, they listened to what I wanted and helped me define my non-negotiables. They set me up for success from the beginning making sure I was fully aware of costs & limitations relating to the build.

We worked together to ensure that the build had everything I needed and that every inch of space was functional, including completely customising the floor plan to include a split-level design that suited my block perfectly, with minimal impact and an entirely customer facade and matching roof-line.

The customer service was outstanding, from sales to contracts, to site supervisor and every employee I dealt with in between, they delivered my incredible custom home on budget, on time and despite some of the challenges we've faced with the pandemic over the last 2 years (but that impacted the build directly more recently).

I've ended up with a home that has incredible, high-quality finishes, great attention to detail and that stands out from the rest of the houses in the street - they've managed to bring something that I thought would only be a dream to life & I am beyond floored with the results. Cavalier truly have the balance right between professional and personal, between building a house and building a home.

Disappointment – I will state for the record I'm a tradesman & Cavalier Wondonga is the second home builder I have built with, first home built Sydney 2013. out. I don't wish to drag this review out to a long winded story so will leave out list mistakes & build faults that should be rectified. After numerous emails, phone calls, txt message's Cavalier still can't supply me with a locked in date to complete works, remember this has been 10 months & counting. As I'm a tradesman I fully understand customers that are hard to please, material shortages, labour shortages, effects Covid has caused & simply mistakes happen which is why I have held off for so long to write a review thinking my issues would be addressed in a reasonable time frame. I also know of the concept scheduling they use that concept to build your home but doesn't exist to fix mistakes & poor workmanship after hand over (what is called maintenance period). I also blame myself for being trusting during the build & hand over doing very limited inspection before paying final payment, but unfortunately at the time Covid had caused border lock down etc & inspection was limited & rushed, also time limited as existing home sold. I carried out due diligence selected builder due to the reviews here at time of building & going off my experience either there standards have dropped or my standards are to high, but using my last builder as the bench mark Cavalier Wodonga seems way bellow that standard. Simple question, would I build with Cavalier Wodonga again which is relevant as my daughter likes one of there home designs & wants to build near us, my answer to her was, on my experience find another home builder.

Build with a company you can trust – We work with Cavalier and now we build our investment properties with a company we trust. From the very beginning we knew we were in good hands. We now have a few more projects in the making that will be starting in the new year. No aftercare poor heating and cooling – I'm so disappointed in Cavalier homes. After my last review they did contact us but nothing was done. So unfortunately our problems are ongoing. Our evaporative cooling has never worked properly despite a tradesman fixing it on 3 occasions. Our laminate flooring looks uneven due to unlevel concrete. really enjoyed our walk-throughs during the build. The end product was exactly what we asked for. The build was finished well under the contracted time (good weather helped), and was absolutely on budget. The finish on our house was outstanding - we just completed the 3 month maintenance period and there were no defects or items needing repair at all. If I had to build another house tomorrow - I would build it with Cavalier Homes.

to expect additional electrical costs which was planned for and we added extra's throughout the build which was never an issue working with Cavalier. It however required additional cost to our build at our expense, however result was a beautiful custom home delivered by Cavalier - we are thrilled.
