Slow process, slow responses, unvalued

Currently building with Domaine/Clarendon Homes in QLD, has been a slow process for the majority of the process so far. 3 months delayed due to miscommunication between the builder and the developer, constant back and forth trying to get the right documentation for the build to start, which has now set us back even more during the festive season with staff members off for weeks. Seems to be a common occurrence with Domaine/Clarendon, if the staff person handling your case is off then apparently no one else can keep an eye on it until they are back on board. Calls go unanswered most of the time. Otherwise, everything else is just ok. Overall, don't feel like a valued customer and will go with someone else next time. Show details

Be prepared to wait....A LOT

We have been in our house now for over 12 months and majority of our 6 month defects have not been rectified. When I chased it up a few weeks ago, I was told that our case went missing. Since then, we've only had the carpenter come out and Stegbar (though i had to contact stegbar myself to organise work). Our issues range from wrong tile colour, badly stained stairs, showers not to code, faulty doors, bad plastering, creaking floors, doors not opening, power points not working or moving (because thats safe!) to name a few. After having NO REPLY from the Warranty Team after numerous emails, i myself am now contacting suppliers to fix issues. I'm also going to lodge a complaint with QBCC as faults are also not to building code Show details

Knock Down Rebuild - choosing house design to contract signing

Making the decision to proceed with a knockdown/rebuild project was daunting at first, however, our Clarendon consultant patiently stepped us through the process with empathy, was extremely knowledgeable and we received the best customer service possible, often going above & beyond to accommodate our requirements. All timelines for pre build inspections/reports/paperwork/pricing given to this point have been extremely accurate. Clarendon Homes build process

This is the second home we have built with Clarendon Homes and we are happy with the process so far. Clarendon offers good quality fittings in the base price with the ability to upgrade different items to suit your taste and budget. Staff during the pre construction process have all been very helpful from the home consultant at the display home to staff in the office who assist with colour and electrical selection. No Complaints!

[Name Removed] approach with us and I am sure all her other clients was impeccable. Much the same with all the Clarendon team they supported us as first-time builders with every single decision as if they were helping a couple for the first time.

We never felt like a nuisance, and [Name Removed] answered all our queries or concerns in a very timely manner. And best of all after our CSO left at very short notice [Name Removed] was nice enough to keep us on her pile of work and not transfer us for a third time to another CSO. Can we change our Sales Consultant? We like the design of Clarendon home but having very unpleasant time with the sales consultant. They provide incorrect information most times, and we have to challenge on everything to get the right answer. They also miss everytime half of the items that I ask in email. It's just a repeat of same thing over and over again, and by the time we reach some acceptable level, then their promotion / pricing changes coz the sales person took weeks to settle our queries. We are just not able to come to the end of it. The cycle time is just far toooo long to come to the contract stage, and could be a reason for us to look elsewhere, which would be a shame.
