even best to deal with. This is our 2nd home with Clarendon and every time it's amazing to dealt with. It's important to choose your builders so you don't stress out with anything but with Clarendon every process has made it so simple.
Allie was fantastic throughout the entire preconstruction process. She made the process seamless and constantly kept us up to date with process and was true to her word on timeframes. I would highly recommend Allie. Show details

If I could give 10 stars I would. My CSC TB and SS GT have made our build journey a very positive one. T who was always responsive, no questions were a bother and I would get a response within a day for my emails. Then G, his fortnightly forecasts were spot on! Weekly photos, I always had updates through the hub from him. Then our PCI inspection… Read more
really proved his attention to detail. I can say this because I also hired a private inspector and the report came up with literally just minor scratches and no major concerns. Thank you both so much!

[Name Removed] is our site manager and we feel lucky to have him for our site. wonderful. A couple of weeks ago [Name Removed] organised an inspection meeting where a professional inspector came for a checking and I was told the number of defects found in my house is much less than the average of other new built houses. I feel so happy about it. At the same meeting [Name Removed] also checked through the entire house together with me and there are several minor painting defects that needed fixing. [Name Removed] happily organised repair work and we are expecting to collect the house in a week's time. I have not moved in yet so can't comment about the electrical and plumbing system but as a whole I am very satisfied about the construction. [Name Removed] is a very polite guy and easy to work with. He is so worthy of the 5 stars rating. Thanks [Name Removed]!
Clarendon homes have produced a fantastic finished house before time. It is absolutely excellent thank you [Name Removed] our site supervisor. We also would like to big thank you to [Name Removed] as we only went to visit and site display house at Springfield and we came this far and achieved what we want. Thank you again [Name Removed]. I settled my land in September 2025. They show cheaper contract and then offer average inclusions and make you spend more at colours selection. Anyway, slab poured 20th January. started 2 months after mine but they are way ahead of me. I’m fearing that I will be the lat one in my estate to get my house completed. Communication is poor as well. They suppose to update fortnightly but I don’t hear much from them. So far I’m very disappointed with the progress specially when I can see other houses getting to completion much quicker in my newly built estate. Please choose your builder wisely as you will be making repayments

very disappointed with the after care warranty services after the handover. very little communication from the office regarding the major issues I have and it has been almost a year since I moved in. Sent them so many emails but hardly got response from anyone. felt like they don’t care about their customer after getting paid ): Show details
Follow-up · i’m still trying to connect with them through email but not even a single reply yet. major issues are water slope issues in the 2 showers and some electricity issues where few lights are missing and not working.

This review is based solely on the customer service we have received during the construction phase of our home, as our build is still in progress. During construction, a temporary pool fence was stolen from the site. While the pool was installed by a third party, it was approved by Clarendon and formed part of our overall building project. understand the contract states that Clarendon is not liable for owner-supplied materials. However, the same contract also gives Clarendon exclusive possession and control of the site until handover, and we believe this comes with a responsibility to take reasonable care in securing the premises. We provided photographs showing the site access gate left open, including after 5:00 pm, yet our concerns were repeatedly dismissed and Clarendon refused to accept any responsibility. What disappointed us most was not the cost of the fence, but the lack of accountability, empathy and willingness to genuinely consider our concerns. Unfortunately, the communication and customer service we have experienced in relation to this matter have fallen well below our expectations, leaving us feeling unsupported as customers.
Mine and my wife’s experience with Clarendon thus far has been sensational. We are first time builders, so came into the process with trepidation over so much negativity towards builders and to be honest a lack of knowledge. The experience with the entire Clarendon team has been nothing short of amazing, a personal shout out to [Name Removed] in… Read more
head office who was designated our file manager and [Name Removed] who was our sales agent from the beginning.
Together they were able to take us through our first inspection of a display village to starting out construction next week, with little to no friction. All questions where answered either same day or next day, they understood that we were nervous and did not pressure us at all. Yet at the same time managed to keep us on track so we did not miss deadlines.
We, like everyone, looked at multiple builders - the reason we picked Clarendon was a combination of inclusions offered and the people we interacted with. It was the right choice.
This will be our family home, and even though Clarendon is a larger builder - they understood this every step of the way.
Sales/pre-build At Roachdale we engaged with [Name Removed] who listened to what we needed/wanted and found a solution that suited us. recommendations. Although she was not always able to give us a direct cost of some items she quickly followed up.
We had an issue with variation costs with Beaumont where they miss calculated the cost. This did take a bit of back and forth with Beaumont but was rectified eventually.
Build The build process was smooth and well explained at each stage. Our Site Manager ([Name Removed]) was very receptive whenever we reached out with questions or concerns. Showed us around the build whenever we asked and appeared to keep things running smoothly.
Post build We had the few general issues such as marks on walls, misaligned hand rail, marks on the carpet. Most of these were identified during the handover process and have been rectified. A few issues arose after handover including a faulty light switch and faulty built in microwave. After reaching out to [Name Removed] these were addressed quickly.
In all we are very happy with our new home, we found Clarendon good to deal with and feel very fortunate to have a great Site Manager.

We built a 6 bed 4 bath house with Clarendon. We demolished our existing house and rebuilt the new house on the same block. build. Throughout the build, we were not contacted regularly and we had to chase them for information about progress. We were advised by the builder that frame stage was complete and to send the payment through. We had it inspected and there were incomplete bolts, missing strapping, no tie-downs which were all needed to comply with the HIA contract. This delayed the project another month while waiting for them to complete it properly. We had numerous issues onsite as the house was built and assurances that everything would be made good in the end, however this was not our experience on a number of factors and even after 12months post-construction we still had outstanding issues unresolved and a QBCC direction to rectify notice to the builder. The house took 2.5 years to build from when we put the deposit down (very slow contract development period - allow 5-6 months). We had waterproofing fail in our bed 2 ensuite which impacted the ensuite, adjoining bedroom and downstairs garage. The trades they sent out to fix issues were inexperienced and often caused more damage than they fixed. Communication or lack thereof was probably the number one disappointment factor and tarnished the whole experience. I would not trust them to build another house for us and would try to find a more reputable builder with their own trades on the books. To their credit, eventually we had most of the issues resolved, but it took a long time and multiple attempts to get things sorted. Had the house been built in good time and communication was regular (every week to 2 weeks), we probably would have been a bit happier. But as it was, it seemed like they weren't interested in our problems and that just creates a whole lot of anxiety when your whole life's savings are going into a project. Glad it's over now.

[Name Removed]'s experience with the Bowral proved to us that we were with the right builder that wanted to build us a home not just sell us one. [Name Removed]'s Sales estimate to the actual construction estimate had no hidden surprises which for us built immediate confidence with the Clarendon team. Once all signed of with [Name Removed], the next stage with the Pre-construction team was quickly put into action. [Name Removed]looked after us and was patient enough to allow to explore the many options available. This process was initially overseen by [Name Removed] who was amazing and kept all communications in order and progressing along until it was handed over to our new Customer Service Consultant, [Name Removed]. My first thoughts were possibly [Name Removed] had big shoes to fill, but Clarendon are very skilled in selecting highly skilled professionals. [Name Removed] from our first contact quickly established herself as a true professional by exceeding our expectations. Communication and prompt replies on all of our queries and requests for information where outstanding. [Name Removed] became involved at a very busy stage, finalising selections and preparing for Construction handover. [Name Removed]'s ability to progress and finalise processes was a very positive experience for us at a stage i guess for all clients is a very stressful and high anxiety stage of finalising selections prior to construction. interest rates, which made the overall build far more expensive than planned. From the beginning, communication was poor. Making selections felt rushed and under-supported, with little guidance. During the build, we experienced three changes in site supervisors. One supervisor was even terminated the day before our scheduled handover - something we only found out after calling ourselves. That cancellation also meant we had to notify our bank at the last minute, and change a lot of plans given we wouldn't be moving. Throughout construction, updates were minimal. We had to chase for progress reports, and when the house was finally handed over, it was clear the job had been rushed. The quality of trades used was very poor, which we were told was due to Clarendon not being willing to pay for higher-quality trades. This has been confirmed by the many trades who have since come to complete warranty work, several have openly commented on the poor workmanship of the initial build and pointed out that things our site supervisor told us were “normal” were in fact below standard. Unfortunately, things did not improve after moving in. The warranty process has been frustrating and inefficient. We were told to “keep a list” of issues and given a piece of paper for this. At 6 months, we were asked to submit each defect individually with photos into a portal. Once uploaded, you couldn’t view your own submission or receive a copy, leaving us with no official record of what had been sent. Nearly 2 years later, rectifications are still ongoing. To add to the frustration, we’ve recently been assigned a new warranty manager who is contradicting advice we were previously given, meaning we’ve had to rehash issues we thought were already resolved. The process with Clarendon was drawn-out, stressful, and marked by poor communication, substandard workmanship, and poor follow-through at nearly every stage. We would caution others to carefully consider these aspects before committing. We hoped to build our dream home but have been left with ongoing problems and disappointment.

and dedication that is truly rare in the industry. He always listened carefully to my requests and responded promptly, no matter how big or small the issue. What I appreciated most was how he consistently took the time to walk me through the schedule in detail, ensuring I understood each stage of the build and felt confident throughout the process. His communication was clear, timely, and respectful—something that made a huge difference in my overall experience. Even during a very personal time—right after the birth of his child—he continued to respond to emails and support the project without missing a beat. That kind of commitment and work ethic is nothing short of remarkable and deserves to be recognised. Despite the Christmas break, the entire build was completed in just 9 months, which is an outstanding achievement for a home of this size. The quality of the workmanship, attention to detail, and time management were all exceptional. I’ve had many friends and family comment on how well the house turned out, and I couldn’t agree more. He is a true asset to the team and deserves to be acknowledged and well supported for the incredible work he does. I’m extremely grateful for his efforts and would highly recommend him to anyone building a home. Keep up the excellent work—you’ve set the bar very high!
This is the second time we built with Clarendon homes. First time everything went quick and well in NSW. This time we engaged with Clarendon QLD in April 2024 with a block of registered land. appointments were very limited with spots. I wish we could be given flooring selection appointment before the kitchen colour selection, so the whole colour scheme would look better. We requested to put an extra window in the living room. However, we were not told the size and never thought it is a question to ask if they are going to be different size, so of couse, now we have two obvious different size windows on the same wall and we cannot complain about this as the contract was signed by us. Also, the after settlement repair is very troublesome as we have to provide professonal photos to prove the paint defects were visible from 1.5ms. Yes, this was what I was asked for, to take photos from 1.5m without reflection to prove that was defect. And we just moved in for 6 weeks, the warranty for the paint is for the first 3 months. In addition, we haven't been given any solutions for other repairs we asked for. In the beginning, I was hoping going with big builders will have less problems with construction and repairs. This experience proved that I am wrong. From this experience, I would not build again in the future.

regret).
Take your money elsewhere as Clarendon do not care, they have people in their employment that are truly awful and the culture within the business is toxic. The team at Loganholme do not return voice messages and do not care. When you do get through and ask to speak a manager they don’t put you through and you never receive a return call. The managers either don’t receive the message or choose to ignore the client. We wrote a email complaint on 15th June 2024 and sent it to the salesperson at [Name Removed] who escalated it to the GM of QLD, GM of operations and GM of the office in Brisbane and to date we have not even received any acknowledgement. The salesperson was hauled into the office and told to keep out of it. They told us they nearly lost their job over it and were told not to deal with us. As executives the three of you should be ashamed of your unprofessional behaviour.
Once you sign the contract you find out how basic everything is which leaves you with no choice but to upgrade. They have the system set up for post contract variations every step of the way and everything is in the builder's favour and the costs keep climbing.
Mistakes were made but there was never any apology or acknowledgement of the mistakes which just slowed things down but cost the client more money to correct.
We had to check absolutely everything multiple times as they are incompetent.
You are assigned a customer service consultant which is a joke as ours ( [Name Removed] ) would not answer the phone, reply to voice messages and hardly ever made our weekly catch up call. She was rude, arrogant and dismissive of the client. Completely incompetent in a customer service role. ( [Name Removed] ) had a habit of sending an email just as she finished on a Friday, so the client was left waiting until the following week for an answer. This became a pattern and lengthened the process which was frustrating.
The build started 20th September 2024 but no handover or meet and greet. Client just left to wait for fortnightly email update and hub update along with invoicing.
The updates were at times incorrect and again when speaking to the construction customer service consultant ( [Name Removed]) we didn’t get anywhere so stopped contacting them wasting our time and causing us more frustration.
It is very clear to see that once the contract is signed you become of no importance at all whilst they go looking for another fool to sign up with them.
It is very difficult to get anyone in the Brisbane office to talk to you. The customer service manager ( [Name Removed]) will not talk to you, and she is not interested in clients at all.
We had to organise regular meetings with our site manager as the hub was incorrect, and we wanted to understand progress being made and what was planned next. We met with ( [Name Removed]) site manager to discuss handover and advised him that we needed a more concrete date for handover as he had previously given us a date of 29th May 2025 and then said he might need another week or two. We advised him that we had people needing to book in dates with us. The site manager shrugged his shoulders and said ‘ that’s not my problem “.
Practical completion walk through 22nd May not much written down or pics taken but then asked to sign on an iPad at the end of the walk through. No confidence that things will be completed before handover but they will not give you the keys until the account is settled in full.
Handover poorly executed just went through a book and then asked to sign an iPad screen. Large number of jobs from practical completion walk through not done as site manager lost his pad.
Go with another builder as I have zero trust in Clarendon Homes or their team.
We are in the house now and snagging has been a challenge - Clarendon the idea behind a snagging list is to correct it not make more as you mess up the original problem.
We have built a number of homes which all went smoothly with clear communication, timelines and clear pricing. This has been a truly awful experience throughout every aspect after signing the contract.

would be in the pre-construction phase. What was discussed and agreed with the sales consultants wasn't always reflective in the plans and contract. We weren't always notified when changes were made. It was sometimes hard to get the consultant to get quotes for specific things we were after, or we weren't informed we couldn't do something until it was too late.
The selections appointment was good, however I would say we were lucky we had done a lot of prep before hand and came knowing generally what we wanted. There is a lot of assumed knowledge expected.
We had a bit of a tough time with the Customer Service Consultants, there was a lot of turnover at the time and we seemed to have a new one or no one week-to-week. Once we were handed over to our site manager, things were good.
