Bought brand new the other day set it up turned power on display is on 000 but fan is running light is on plate turning can't press any buttons or stop it wat do I do

Ok. Press DEFR, then enter THREE figures, presumably for the weight of the item you want to defrost, then press COOK
Ok, how do you use it? My GF brought it over afer moving in, I worked out that you have to press the power button first but once I get past 11 secs it only jumps up in minutes. Can someone tell me how to get around this?

How do I relate the fascia board suggested temperatures for food on the EM720CLRF-PM to those recommended for cooking/heating etc recipes in other cookbooks e.g. high, medium, low. and suggested times which equate with the foods enumerated on the fascia of the above Contempo model?
