CPC Shower Plug Questions & Answers
How clean do walls need to be and what size cracks in the til;es will this fix
Can I use shower plug on top of silicone
Hi I have applied Shower Plug just recently to try and fix a leaking shower. Applied as per instruction and client has not used the shower for 2 full days after application. They have rung me to say the floor tiles have a greasy feel to it and the walls have a flakey texture. Would love your thoughts Cheers Toby
I have applied shower plug as directions from can, there is a greasy film on the tile walls , can’t tell with the grout. I wiped off excess from second application. Seems not to have dried . Is there meant to be a film? Purchased from Bunnings , no apparent use by date. The solution was just like applying water to the shower recess. After 12 hours , still a film on walls. What else should I look for ? Room temperature is around 14 degrees C. I have now put a mini heater within the recess to see if film dries. Any suggestions please. John
