listened (believe me, it’s rare in this industry) and was able to help us put together our dream home on a dream piece of land in literally weeks. We had been told that it would be years before we could afford anything more than a wheelie bin on a patch of bindies and yet Ben and the team at Homebuyers have got us building a 4x2 and qualified for Keystart. My favourite part is of course the snacks in the Dale Alcock display centre so that I can crunch on crackers and sip on sparkling water to the sound of Ben explaining our floor plans and being a back up dancer for my wife as she makes structural changes and ensure that pink tiles are indeed on the menu. Like any good spouse, I bring thoughtful gazing out the window during tile selections and comments of I don’t mind until it comes to the ensuite or advocating for surfmist everything. If I wasn’t married to my wife and was interested in men, I would probably give Ben Kirk a big sloppy forehead kiss for making this whole process feel less like a hammer to my thumb and more like a cool breeze on the back of my neck with a beer in hand gazing upon our newly built home.

He has been available to us when it’s time to make hard decisions and when it’s time to celebrate the big wins. Honestly, if we could afford it we would have 10 investment properties just to work with Ben again. I recommend his impeccable customer service to anyone in my community who breathes one word about building a home and if we had this time over I would run to his office as soon as we had the idea to build. He has been absolutely invaluable to us and our building dreams, and I can’t sing his praises loud enough. He is an absolute asset to your company and I know we wouldn’t have had an experience with anyone else, any where else. 10/10 would do this 100 times over.

The building has been on time, we have received telephone and email communication with updates and photos at each stage, and our questions have been promptly addressed. All in all, we have been very happy with the procedure of the build, and the whole process has been relatively stress-free for us. This is no doubt due to the work of our assigned team who are very professional, competent and organized. the interior team as we’d hoped. We are still in the early stages though so this could change. Additionally, the portal is very basic as it does not present the options in an effective way. It is easy to feel uncertain of what you have selected.

nothing was too much trouble over the multiple iterations of our design. We signed the contract in January and were told to expect a 12 month build time which we were happy with. As the house progressed we were then told that we would be in before Christmas, then November and finally we were handed the keys in late October, 2 and a half months ahead of schedule. At no stage were there any hidden costs. Our liaison person, Melanie always responded very quickly to our queries during the build and our site manager, Matt was very approachable and efficient. The quality of the build has been extremely high and a couple of very small issues since handover have been dealt with in a timely and appropriate manner. I have every confidence that should there be any further issues surfacing over time, that Dale Alcock will continue to sort them out in a similar fashion. I am very comfortable with giving a 5 star review to this excellent builder.

The Home Collective has also been such a standout resource. Being able to see all the specifications, finishes, and options in person has made our selections so much easier and way more enjoyable.
