My unit doesn't seem to keep my settings. If I make a coffee immediately after saving the settings they are ok but the next day they are not the same
As well as not saving settings does it make crap coffee and cold cappuccinos?
Sell it...

Does this machine have a double pump
What sort of screw driver di you need to remove the back?
Have had my Dinamica machine for less than a week it’s asked to decale and now same issue as everyone else milk froth not working. Trying the 5x full milk through on the 2nd round of water and not looking like it is changing yet what has Delonghi done with everyone? Am I best to send back and upgrade and get a completely different machine?
Good luck getting a refund/replacement - Delonghi are a nightmare to work with!! I’ve had my machine serviced twice for this reason - only two times I’ve descaled! Firstly, have you adjusted to your water hardness?
if you have I suggest you take back to place of purchase asap and advise it’s faulty and that you’d like a refund. I think they have to replace given how new it is. If they refuse contact your ombudsman.
If that fails call delonghi and ask for a replacement. If they keep providing solutions (as you’ve outlined) threaten to take further and they will send you to a repair centre. Mine advised that it’s an issue with the o ring or coupling, from memory.
I suspect that I will have to repeat this process every time I descale unfortunately! I’d advise you to return for a refund if possible give the number of similar issues and lack of resolution.
I brought direct from Delonghi online I tried to ring earlier but were closed and sent an email yesterday. Think I want a refund I do not want to have to send this machine back everytime i decale sounds like a nightmare. Do you know what machine is good that won’t have this issue?
I don’t. I’ve stuck with the delonghi because I couldn’t get a refund (first descaled 6 months after purchase).
Good luck!
Ok, I've repaired my unit. Descaling caused particles to block the spout connection. To fix, remove the water spout or frothing connection as you normally do for cleaning. You will need a very thin pin (I used a single strand of 4mm copper wire). Poke it into the small hole at the end of the connection. It should dislodge the blockage. The blockage may just get stuck again so I'd try it again if it doesn't work first time. I did dismantle the unit in my investigation. Behind that hole is a spring, plastic ball bearing & backing cylinder. Don't go too deep, you just need to get in 5mm or less but you shouldn't be able to destroy anything unless your tool breaks inside. Goodluck
My frothers better than before I might add.

my Dinamica machine is about 4 years old. it worked perfectly up unto a few months ago when it started to trip the safety switch whenever we did a descale and recently it trips randomly when making coffee. The last machine did the same, so we replaced it. Any ideas why.
Hello. We love our Dinamica. Its a great product. One problem however. It gives us an alert to descale periodically. This used to be at regular intervals. Now it is immediate. I just ran a descale cycle until it gave an OK prompt at "Descale Complete". After one cup of coffee it says to descale again. This is happening continuously now. Just tried to descale again. Same thing happened. Any suggestions?
I have had a dinamicia for about 2 years. The coffee is now dripping slowly out ( I have not made any changes or adjustments). Water runs through easily in the heating and rinsing phase. Does anyone know how to fix this. It is not asking to descale
We have had the dinamica for a month now and it worked great until we descaled. Now the milk does not pour correctly with just a lot of steam and sputtering. From reading below numerous people have had this issue. How has this been rectified by de longhi or are we better off contacting the store for our money back?
did you ever find a answer to this? ours is doing this too
When a descale occurs in the unit, the appliance has gone through a major pump clean and we just need to tighten the lines. Please add water inside the milk carafe to max Insert the milk carafe to the appliance and
Select DRINK MENU.
Once in DRINK MENU > Please select HOT MILK function and let this run multiple times by running this as hot milk feature and please escape clean feature after each milk run.
You will need to fill 5 full carafes of water as HOT MILK and this will reprime the lines, so continue to do the above steps.
If you are still having problems with the milk, alternately please click on the link below to search for your closest service center to take your machine to for a warranty service as the next option:
Please look for Service Repairs that states Coffee or Fully Automatic as these agents are coffee machine specialists
Did the above recommendation work for anyone?
I just had exactly the same issue on a brand new machine. I tried Chelle's suggestion then refilled the milk jug and tried again. I very carefully moved the froth selector once I got it running on just plain milk first and it frothed fine. I ran a couple of cups and it seems to be ok. Make sure you move the selector to "insert" when removing and plugging in the jug as well. I don't know but it seemed to help. Thanks Chelle. It is pretty crap that you pay over $1000 for a machine that is prone to a major issue like this.
Hi, thanks for your question. The following steps may assist in re—priming the jug back to the machine. This can take a bit of time but please follow the steps below: PRIMING THE MILK JUG - Fill the milk jug with cold TAP water - Choose a hot milk function repeatedly until the jug is empty - Repeat this until 4 full milk jugs of water have been dispensed - Fill milk jug with milk - Choose a hot milk function repeatedly until the jug is empty.
Once this process that been completed your milk jug should be reprimed back to the machine and you should have no further issues with it. Thanks, De'Longhi
Thanks. Worked like a charm for me.
Yes this worked for me
We have had our Dinamica for 18 months now and we are finding that the milk carafe is becoming more and more difficult to remove, can you tell us what may be causing this problem?
Hi there, did you get an answer to this question? I have the same problem
Hi Neil. Thanks for reaching out to us on product review. This can be common on all the machines milk jugs if any of the orings are worn down and the coupling on the machine is not lubricated. You can lubricate this with a general oil which will help with the sliding on and off of the milk jug.
If you o-rings are looking abit frayed or worn down, please reach out to us via direct message and we are happy to sort it out for you.
Thanks.
Hi, I am having this issue. Could I get an example of a general oil that can be used as advised?
Hi Lee,
Thank you for your message.
Olive oil should do the trick, Please try this
Also, ensure on your jug that you move the dial to insert.
Thank you

Hi all! We recently were gifted Delonghi Dinamica in Dec 2021. We were using machine for about a month before it asked me to descale machine. I was making coffee fine in the morning with everything working okay. Then I descaled the machine in the afternoon and suddenly the milk frother is not working. Same issue I’ve read others have here. Just steam comes out and few splatters of water/milk. Everything was working fine until descaling.
I took apart the milk frother and washed few times incase. Ran clean cycle on the milk system few times as well to let hot water run through the parts and still no luck.
I rang delonghi approx 2 weeks ago and they sent me a new milk frother which arrived yesterday. Have now washed and gone to use new frother this morning and still same issue! Only steam is coming out. Not sure what else to do.
Has anyone successfully fixed this? Have to wait until Monday to call delonghi back as they’re closed. But after reading comments here I now realise this is a common problem. Thanks all!
Hi, have you had a solution to this? I've got the same problem and tried to call but they have extended wait times so I've sent an email just waiting on a response
Hi Jason, Delonghi just advised me only option is to send the machine to their repair partners to look at and fix/see what issue is. I told them I don’t feel comfortable having a new machine sent off and taken apart. I’ve sent a lengthy email noting my concerns on this but still waiting for a reply from them. It’s been about a week since I’ve emailed and no reply. I’ll be following them up.
I’m also trying to get some help from the store this machine was purchased from. I hope you have some luck on your end. At the moment we’ve been stuck with a basically brand new coffee machine that we can’t use since mid Feb. I’ll repost a reply if I have any luck on having issue resolved. Best of luck!
Have the same problem. I need to contact them too.
I had this problem too. Ends up the plastic tube in the milk carafe has to be inserted into the top part with the holes lining up. Otherwise the milk doesn't flow through correctly. Been great ever since.
Thanks for the tip ZZZ. That’s how I was doing it before descaling and after. For some reason even with holes lining up still doesn’t work for our machine. Glad your machine is working as normal though it’s good news! Really appreciate the feedback and trying to help.
We have the same issue. The first time this happened, we shipped it to Delonghi, they changed the O ring and sent it back. It worked perfectly fine until a recent descaling cycle. We have been asked to send it back. Has anyone been able to resolve this issue?

Amanda was your issue resolved? We are having the same issue, and our machine is only a month old.
My drink tastes good but is just not hot enough. The coffee is of good temp I can set the temp to max and is fine. But when the milk pours out it brings down the temp, I can literally drink it up and not just sip. I know I can heat up milk separately and add it but what's the use of the frother then? Any suggestions on how I can increase the milk temp coming from the latte crema?
I brought mine about 3 weeks ago and I have the same problem. The milk hardly froths and it is only luke warm. I cannot find any solutions.
Place a cup under the spout and turn the control knob fully to the right and the milk being heated will then warm up the spout. Now, tip that out and start making your coffee as normal. The milk will remain hot now the spout has been warmed up.
How do you do a half shot on the dinamica plus?
Hello, I purchased a Delonghi Dimamica in December 2021. I descaled the machine two days ago when it requested to be descaled. Since then my LatteCrema System is not working correctly: it is hissing and spluttering, and a little bit of watery milk is spat out. It was working perfectly until the descaling cycle was run. Any suggestions?
Make sure the spout is inserted until it clicks (on the side) I was here with the same issue and finally resolved it with this. Hope it helps

Great thank you it worked!
What can I do... It has happened a few times now.. coffee pours perfectly, go to put milk in from frother and it comes out like yoghurt.. my milk is in date. I have cleaned the frother out.. machine has been descaled but the full cream mill still comes out the same???
ECAM35055B; Fairly new unit (3 months) ...replaced original filter with filter that was enclosed in original box...no problems. Have just replaced the water filter again but display keeps telling me to replace filter. I had no problem in replacing first filter...any help would he appreciated...thanks
Why descaling shows every 2 weeks. My old primadonna avanti was every 2 months
Your water hardness setting is too high, set it to water hardness level 1
Thank you Angela
Hello, I purchased a Delonghi Dimamica in December 2021, I descaled the machine two days ago when it requested to be descaled. Since then my LatteCrema frother is not working correctly. If I use it on the automatic latte/cappuccino setting all I get is steam and bit of water/milk coming out. If I use the manual hot milk setting I get steam and bit of water/milk for first half then finally frothed milk for second half. I have cleaned the LatteCrema several times. Have I lost a seal perhaps, unsure how to fix.
I have exactly the same problem. Did the descale this morning and now only the tiniest bit of milk comes out
Same thi g has happened to me. Anyone manage to fix it?
Hi Janelle, did you manage to fix this problem? I did the exact same as you mentioned with the descaling and am having the exact same problem with the milk. Have tried to flush the system out again by doing a descale with clean water and flushed the hot water spout several times with no fix. Checked all parts and have found no cracks or breaks in anything. Would love to hear back from anyone who has found a solution.

Thanks Chelle, I will try this and see if it works.
Hello, I bought ny delonghi dinamica 350.55.b around 3 months back. After 1st descaling cycle which completed succesfully, the latte-milk sytem has stopped working. It doesn't froth the milk , just the hot water comes instead. Very much disappointed, Read similar problems, tried above mentioned steps to fix. No luck! Anything else that I can try ?
Same thing happened to ours. Only 2 weeks old
