Not sure why the general instructions for setting coffee temperature does not work on this model?
Hi William If your coffee isn't hot enough you can try heating the infuser by pressing the rinse/descale button before you make a coffee. You might also find that the Eco mode is enabled. You can disable that by pressing the Eco button.

Why does the used coffee beans make so much mess inside the machine? They don't always go into the grounds container & end up on the drip tray.
Hi Judy, I'm not sure I know the answer to this sorry. Mine gets used coffee beans a bit everywhere too, a pain but just lucky it makes bloody nice coffee :)
