Hi I have a delonghi magnifica s smart. For some reason when I press the long coffee button no coffee is dispensed after grinding. If I hold the button down till it flashes and coffee is dispensed it works. Any ideas on issues or remedy please

Magnifica S Smart. 250.33 I have made a hash of setting the volume for the "Long" coffee button. It now won't do 2 grinds, only 1. How do I reset it to do 2 grinds? Thanks Gordon
Hi Gordon, Thank you for your review. We have done some testing for you on this unit and can confirm there is a double grind. Can we please request your appliance is turned off from all points for 24 hours to do a reset to ensure that no recipes have been altered and please try again.

Hi! Please can someone offer a troubleshoot for when the machine is not producing coffee when using ground coffee instead of beans? I’ve been using the ground coffee option for a week now, since I’ve changed to decaffeinated coffee, but it just stopped working. I’ve descaled the machine and cleaned the diffuser and the problem persists. Also, when using the beans, I can now only make an espresso! All the other options do not come up. Can someone please let me know how to fix it all? I’ve got the De’Longhi Magnifica smart machine. Thank you

I am thinking of getting magnifico s plus Does it have 1 boiler and also can you make a double shot in one coffee cup not weakened but DIUBLE shot of beans
Yes and no(!). You'll need to pour the first shot and once that's finished pour another one. Not such a big deal, but it would be a little more convenient if you could pull two shots with just one press of a button. Don't be fooled by the '2x Espresso' button - that just pours twice the volume of water through the same single coffee puck (Edit: Some online references (anecdotes!) suggest it might add 30-50% more coffee. Even so it's not double so still best avoided if that's what you're after).

I particularly would like to understand the difference/benefits of the coffee button versus the long button? For Magnifica S Smart what are the differences between the 2x espresso and the Long recipes. Does 2x espresso use twice the coffee and then extrude twice the water. I notice the Long extrudes more water and pulsates as it delivers the water using only one espresso dose.

Hi John. Just turn the knob at the front left hand side of the machine and it will change. The frother button will flash after the heating process is complete

Does the Magnifica S Smart have single or double boilers ? i.e can you froth your milk at the same time as preparing your espresso
It has a single boiler
It doesn't have a boiler. It's a thermoblock machine, as are most bean to cup coffee machines. But it only has one, so you can't do both at the same time.
Hi, can someone please advise how I change the water volume for single and double espresso? I tried pressing the desired button after I initially press the espresso button but that setting is temporary. I want to change my cappuccino volume from 40ml to 25ml.

Hello, does "integrated" milk frother mean this machine comes with a milk container and froths it's own milk just by pressing a button? (There's no milk container in the picture)
No milk frother, manually controlled steam nozzle.

Your response was the difference between Magnifica S ECAM22110SB $779: Magnifica S Smart ECAM25033TB $999. Therefore, do I assume that Delonghi Magnifica S is the same machine as the Delonghi Magnifica S Plus. In my research I read that there was three Delonghi Magnifica Coffee Machines : • Delonghi Magnifica S • Delonghi Magnifica S Plus • Delonghi Magnifica S Smart Can you please clarify this matter.
