VerifiedI have a Delonghi primadonna S and lately it shows some weird characters while on . I tried turning it off and on after a while . Sometimes I can see the regular screen but sometimes the weird characters come back . Any suggestions on what is wrong with it?

My machine says insert infuser assembly when it’s already inserted. Fault with machine I guess
I reset my prima Donna's de lux and it will rinse and then it says heating up, if I press menu button it says please wait for 3 seconds and then returns to say heating up
Can you have the machine run hot water through the coffee beans twice rather than increase the coffee amount that it grinds - thanks Ann
The screen is not lighting up properly - machine still works but there is some spitting from the milk froth inlet when turned on -
The machine is stuck on insert tank although the water tank is inserted correctly. I have turned it off and tried a few times but to no avail. Help
I had the same issue. The cause is that when you slide the water tank in, the tab at the back/top is not pushng a switch behind it, because the tag on this had broken off. After switching the power off, I took the back off the machine and inserted a piece of cardboard to hold the switch open. This was a temporary fix until I had a DeLonghi agent replace the broken part.

Make sure the tab on the back of the water tank is not broken.
General Alarm after the "Heating please wait" and nothing happened. Have recently descaled the machine is extremely clean. What are the next things i should do?
Ou machine stop producing steam halfway though doing the milk now will not steam at all ,I can get water from spout but doesn’t want to produce any steam Need help
Sorry to hear this. But my experience is that if the machine is out of warranty better buy another machine and never Delonghi again. I had 2 machines and was very disapointed of the bad service they have. Though now I have a Saecco machine.
I am having a few issues with this machine. First, it sometimes will not complete a coffee-making cycle. If seems the beans are ground, then the machine resets to the beginning of the cycle. Also, lately, it has been making only a fraction of the amount of coffee selected. Second, the screen oftentimes now shows jibberish ... a mix-up of letters and symbols during a brewing cycle. Third even when the machine is sitting idle(not shut down), there is an occasional "beep" that I cannot figure out. Any assistance you can provide would be helpful. The Delonghi folks here in Canada are COMPLETELY unresponsive.
sorry, but this is again a software problem. It seems that they have a bad service all over the world. Better buy another brand.
Hi we use to have a Prima Donna Elite which was great and upgraded to the Prima Donna Soul but it wont let us save any profiles, we have watched the videos again and again and it never comes up with the option to save the profile it takes you straight to the cleaning process. What are we doing wrong?
Hey Tania, On the machine you are able to change between profiles on the machine and then make coffees in that profile. Upon finishing the coffee inside the profile the machine will ask if you want to save those settings. If you select yes the machine will save that coffee in the profile you are on. Any recipes created in the profile that is showing on the screen will be saved this way.
In order to change a profile name or edit the profile you need to go into the De'Longhi Coffee link app and connect to the machine and there you will be able to change the name of the profile. There are a series of steps that you would go through to change the name , colour and icon of the profile and then finish to save it.
What cleaning process are you talking about? are you saying the machine is going into descale or it is rinsing when you try to save the profile. Also are you trying to do this on the app or the machine? It may be most awesome for you to have a chat with one of our customer service team so they can help ensure you are able to save the profile. The “fill tank” warning doesn’t come on when it’s low on water! Is there a sensor that needs replacing? Thanks.
It is better to try to live with this problem, because it is a little thing. And it can be a problem of the sensor or the software or electric wire.
Hope replacing a new tank (new with new magnet) works.
Hi My coffee machine alters descale very very soon ,, I had descaled machine just 2 weeks ago than again ,,, I use filter water for water tanks.. it sounds something wrong … Thanks …just give me solution please ,,,

typical De Longhi Software fault... And the repair team in Bangkok was not able to fix it. Thats why I gave my machine away for free. Now I use Saecco, very good.
My PrimaDonna Elite machine has water leaking into the grounds container. This is causing flooding as it is filling up quite quickly. Please can you advise what to do/how to cure? I have had the machine for just over a year. Thank in advance.
This is mostly due to a leak of a hose seal. You may find it out yourselve by demounting the machine. There are instruction movies on youtube. Else you bring it to the service.

This happens often on Delonghi machines. Either a leaking tube inside, or the pump is over.
My DeLonghi Prima Donna S Deluxe machine has been fielding water into the grounds container. The amount of coffee being dispersed is less than what is normal and seems delayed to start the pour. This has happened for a week or so now. I just descaled, cleaned the housing and replaced the filter yesterday and it is still doing the same thing. I cleaned the coffee spouts with toothpick without any change. Thoughts?

Good morning, I have purchased a prima donna soul, I have also downloaded the coffee link app. I cannot connect the machine to the link. After it searches for the machine it is found and when I am asked to select the machine I touch on it , my phone then goes to the machine synchronisation and then goes back to searching for the machine. Hi, Our ECAM26455M Delonghi Prima Donna S delux does not pour the coffee out of the spouts about 50% of the time, the water seems to bypass the coffee making process and comes out into the water try via a connection in the bottom right front of the machine. I have had it fixed or they said they fixed it once but this hasn't corrected the issue. The infuser has been cleaned, the spouts cleaned with a tooth pick. Also, when the machine is turned off the rinse that normally happens to rinse the spouts does not occur but the rinse when the machine is turned on does. What could the problem be, is it worth getting fixed?
Our beloved prima donna s deluxe (bought in 2012) is having problems. I can hear the coffee grinding but no water is coming through. The coffee in the ground container is dry and there is water in the tray, just not in the cup! Can you help?

I contacted Delonghi directly and they thought it was the pump. However the pump is working - I can see it and water will squirt from the tube connected to it. Water is going directly in to the drip tray - nowhere else. What could it be if not the pump?
