Hi brain trust, any help would be greatly appreciated. I have just connected the fridge to 12v in the car fridge power light is solid orange, the two compartments say off. Set button not responding to turn on fridge compartments. I have now connected it to 240v power and it is doing the same thing . the temperature buttons are working have pressed both together and it brings up a A0 i can change this by pressing up and down and the big fridge compartment screen changes A1,2,3,4 + or - depending on the amount of presses. I have turned on the Emergency overide switch and the compressor is working cooling the large compartment. Why wont the set button work? please help.

After experiencing icing and odd temperature display, I replaced the thermocouple on my CFX 28 and it’s perfectly for three trips of about 4-6 weeks. THEN, it stopped working on 12 V. Still operates on 250V. Cables have Ben checked by auto electrician and both ok. The only repair facility I can find in WA charges over $100 just to drop it off before they do any work on it!! Any thoughts on what I can do myself other than buy another brand and throw this one out? It is about3 years old.

My CFX 40W leaked water onto my lounge carpet without my knowing while working on mains but since has not shown any leaks. It was in normal mode - not emergency. When I cleaned the carpet the fibres of the carpet (wool) were rotted and came off as I was cleaning. The Dometic CFX has been in the laundry working since and has worked perfectly - no leaking onto the floor. Has anyone got any idea what happened?

My esky stopped getting cold so I checked the condenser and it had lots of fluff and dog hair clogging it. I cleaned it all out but the fridge still doesn’t get cold. Help

My fridge + button is not working can use the minus to make the temperature lower but can’t raise the temp or turn wifi on. Would replacing the control panel solve this. Also is there any videos showing how to do this?

After two years of running well, my CFX28 is developing ice around the door seal (it is firmly latched closed) and is not reaching the set freezer temperature. defrosting, reset etc does not help. Do I need a new thermocouple or seal?

I had this problem and purchased a new thermocouple from a firm In Melbourne. Arrived within a week in WA and came with easy to follow fitting instructions. Together with mail. It cost about $35. Unfortunately, I can’t find the name of the company. Worth a search though as it immediately fixed the problem.

The large compartment is set to 2 deg and the smaller one set to -15. The compressor seems to run all the time and large compartment measures-18 with a separate thermometer but showing 11 on the readout on the fridge.

Hi everyone, I was hoping someone may be able to help me my domestic 75 L fridge freezer. It had been working fine but now continues to fail on 12 Volts. It runs and hold temperature fine on 240 V But when running on 12 V it will start out fine But then it will not hold temperature and shows a low voltage error even with my battery showing 13 V on the car. I have also tried it with a battery pack and the same issue occurs with the battery pack still being fully charged? Thank you Cheers Jamie

My brand new Dometic CFX3 55IM has an annoying high pitch frequency on compressor start up. It settles a little but continues the entire time the compressor is active. Any suggestions (other than to take it back) or explanations for this?

Mt Cfx40w is freezing everything even when set to 6 degrees. Any ideas?? And it's also set to normal, not emergency over ride. Cheers

I use a CFX95DZ 2 years and one week old used intermittently on my boat.

Turned it on to cool down before going out and soon an error code 35 popped up telling me that the temperature controller was too hot , so checked the fans and coils etc all appear clean. the surrounding area is clear and it is well ventilated any suggestions?
