Hi my heat pum dryer esatto has started to keep going while the door is open, i brought this dryer 2019 and has been great how can i fix this problem
DickH's recommendation on how to fix worked in my case (Fill light). Its not a big job, 30 mins if you are careful at most - the only thing I would recommend beond this is taping over the exposed connectors with electricial tape instead of leaving free.
Mine has been doing this for a while and was going to just give in and replace it as it’s out of warranty and probably more to fix than replace! Might try this first if you got it to work again. Sounds like a lot of screws though lol
Hi guys, our Esatto dryer is only 3.5 years old and has started throwing up the 'full' light for no apparent reason. We have always kept the filters and condenser clean. This seems to be a common problem. Can this be addressed under ACL as 3.5 years is not a reasonable time for a new appliance to stop working IMO. Thanks. (I have cleaned the sensor underneath the first lint basket. Just looks like a steel knob?)

Yeah it was a faulty water level float sensor, needed to get the repair people to do it as it was a major dismantle job to fix it. It sits at the bottom of the machine underneath the drum and detects when the top water tank is full. Cost me not much less to fix than what it cost me to buy new. :( If it dies again I'll just get a normal drier and port the exhaust out of the window. Good luck. :)
Hi apparently there is a felt belt for the esatto heat pump dryer. I have called around and nobody can help me. Anyone know where I can buy one and how to replace it?
Hello Esatto team We've had an Essato 7 kg heat pump dryer for approx 4 years. It has worked really well. Only problem is the super musty smell. We've looked at videos on YouTube and cleaned the lint from the finns etc, and cleaned all the built up lint, but it still emits a terrible smell Any suggestions about how to pull apart and thoroughly clean?
Dear Team My Esatto EHPD7 is not collecting water in the container. Where is the water going? My clothes are only partially dry. What do I need to do? Thank you for your help
Yes, the same is happening to mine. I was thinking maybe the air inlet isn’t working. Not too sure though.
The water will collect down the bottom behind the lint filter. Once that fills up it will show a FULL error and you can only get the water out from there by tipping the machine forward and water gushed everywhere. Two sets of repair people came out as machine was under warranty, they’re not Residential group staff so they’re unbiased and said that if water is not collecting in the tank up the top the pump isn’t working. There was never a spare pump so they replaced my dryer but the second dryer did the same thing so I got a full refund. It’s a common fault. From reviews if you get one that works they’re great but if you get a lemon like I did twice it’s super frustrating and best to get something more consistently reliable.
mine works for for 3.5 years. And today the full light was on after a short while doing a run. Cleaned everything, also notice the bottom bit was wet. I have never seen it wet. So I guess I am in the same boat. No wonder appliance online dont sell essato anymore...
Mine worked for 3 years and 2 months. Now the Full LED is on and the dryer stopped working completely after just a few minutes. Did you find a solution?

I fixed the FULL error message by cleaning the senor in the first lint compartment, can I have a like please.
Could u pls show me how? I got the full error as well
Ok in the end that was not it, my mistake. In the end tech guys replaced the pump and now its perfect for 2 months so far. Its a weak pump issue.
Where is the pump located?
I have had mine for a few months. Has never completely dried a load. And now it’s saying filter full. I have cleaned both filters and empty water after every dry. Am I doing something wrong? How long should it take to dry a small load?

clean the sensor in the first filter compartment for complete fix.
Tried that but still have it stop after a few minutes with the full light on. Everything is clean and empty.

ALmost 1 year old Esatto dryer started tripping electricity circuit. Now when door is closed it just trips it and not able to use it all.

I have to start the auto cycle 3 times, with water and lint removal between each cycle to get a load of completely dry clothes. This is taking 6-8 hrs to dry one load. Is this normal?
Not normal, check that you are not overloading the dryer. Sometimes the water needs removing if clothes are very wet, but not if they have been through the spin cycle on your washer.
No that's not normal, I can only assume you are drying towels which is why you are needing to clean the lint so often. Try smaller loads and make sure the clothes have been through the spin cycle too.
Thank you. Definitely not overloading the dryer, capacity is 7kgs and only filling up half way - also no towels. Clothes have been through a spin cycle in the wash. Thanks, didn't think this was efficient!
there are 2 filters clean the lower one which removes with the twist buckles
Can anyone confirm is there is a reverse function? And if so, how efficient is it? Do bedsheets roll-p into a ball?
Just bought the condenser dryer, used it once to dry two sheets and worked fine. The next load I tried was two towels and it stopped and beeped flashing the ‘full’ light. The container is empty, the back hose is unobstructed, the filter is clean. I now can’t get it to do anything. The dryer is less than a week old and not working. Pretty annoyed, I will be calling Appliances Online (who I bought it through and who installed it) but can see on here it seems to be a common issue. Wish I’d seen these posts first and I would have bought a different brand.
I bought the heat pump and it’s similar - when mine goes full the only way to get water out as it does not collect in the top tank is to lean the dryer forward and water runs out the bottom. It is faulty - get a refund and save for one a bit more expensive.
I don’t understand how they get such a high review rating. Otherwise I would not have bought one either if I had seen these posts.

I clean the lint compartment in both areas every time and it did not fix the issue. The two machines I received were faulty. I got a refund and now happy as with a completely new machine.
What did you replace it with?

Seems all the recent reviews are quite bad and particularly reference poor after sales customer service. Interesting that this is meant to be a monitored listing by Esatto but for last 7 months, no comments on the negative reviews. Is Esatto still monitoring this listing and can explain what they're doing to improve what looks like a continued fall in their customer service? I'm looking to buy a dryer and these service issues are definitely leading me to avoid Esatto.
Hi I’ve had one esatto heat pump replaced as the heat pump never worked and water would not fill the tank but collected down the bottom and the only way to empty the water as the machine is showing full is to tip it on its side. I’ve had it replaced and after one week the same thing has happened again. All the connections are as per the manual and I even watched a YouTube video in case I had done something wrong but it’s pretty straightforward. Has anyone else has this happen? Just worried it’s me.
Mine keeps saying that too but water tank is nowhere near full! Update: as mine was still under warranty I contacted Essato and they sent someone to check it, said it seems like it’s the float sensor and was going to order the part and fix, then got a call that part is out of stock so sending me a new dryer tomorrow! Sure hope the new one lasts longer as warranty is now almost expired!

They never have any parts in stock but send out a new one. I’m on my third replacement and same problem. I wouldn’t hold my breathe.
I just got on here as mine keeps saying full and thought maybe it was an easy fix and there is no water in it and clothes staying wet ,iv has mine for over 12 months now but spent $890 on it which took me a year to save I'm very disappointed and upset I regularly clean it and the filters is there any other solutions ?

No it's not as it didn't work for me and if it was that easy then the service tech's wouldn't approve a replacement which seems the case for quite a few buyers on here.
Recently bought the heat pump dryer. Noticed a strong smell of cigarette smoke when i opened the door. Cleaned it like the instructions say before use and put a load of clothes in. All the clothes came out smelling of that same smoke. Is this normal or a fault?

Can i know the 'footprint'dimension of this Esatto heat pump.
I know it says 595 w× 622d , what i want to know is the footing dimension as i will be stacking on top of my washing machine which measures 590w x 540d.
I would like to purchase heat pump dryer , but my worry it might not able to sit above my washing machine.
Your help is much appreacited.

Hi I believe you can stack them but not mount them on a wall as they are very heavy. Your washing machine would need to be robust and preferably bigger than the dryer, and you'll need a mat or a stacking kit. But I would check with Esatto for stacking advice before doing this just to be on the safe side.
How long does it normally take to dry one load of clothes? Thank you!
Forever! Heat pumps take longer than vented dryers from my experience.
