My new machine is turned off and every 5 seconds of light flashes. Is that normal?
I have a cadorna prestige for about a month, the power button blinks every 5 seconds. Is this normal. I dont think it should do that.
How do I insert the water spout?
Hi WholeLatteLove, I got my Gaggia Cadorna a while ago and have been loving the coffee but have been noticing that the bottom tray is constantly filling up with water gradually over time even though I always keep a cup to catch the rinse cycles powering on and off the machine. It seems like every time I make a cup of something a little more appears in the drip tray and this has been happening ever since I got the system. I don't think it's the water tank seal since it is pushed in all the way, plus I can hear something like a little extra trickle down into the back of the tray every time I use the system. Any recommended checks or fixes to figure this out? Regards, Peter
My Gaggia Córdoba machine says “insert water spout” which when I do that, nothing changes? How can I fix this please? Is there a way to do a hard reset on the machine possibly?…

After taking apart the milk carfe and thoroughly cleaning it, then reassemble as per the instructions, the carafe dispenser now leaks and does not provide a full cup of milk based coffees (eg Cappuccino). Any fix it ideas?
I accidently put ground coffee in the grinder instead of beans. DOes this break it?

We have a Cadorna Prestige for nearly a year now and it has been performing great up until a few weeks ago when the flow became erratic. Have run descaling and brew group clean, including cleaning the valve without effect. It seems like the water ends up in the drip tray. Typically now produces 100ml when I set it to 200ml, but often much less.

Sounds like the seal has gone. I had the same problem, water just going into drip tray. When you open the machine you can see it on the water pipe. The guy at Sega Fredo picked what the problem was over the phone, and replaced it in front of me, really minor repair.

Our machine is less than a year old and been fantastic. Now it says insert water spout and will not work at all. No idea how to fix it if anyone can help?

Yes. You insert a black type looking plug that came with the machine. It inserts into where the milk carafe normally goes. Then it prompts you push a button and a whole heap of steam comes out so just have a mug under the unit. Stand back as it sprays a little. I think it must happen if the machine has a little clog or something in the milk part inside the machine. Worked fine as soon as it was done.
It was a super easy fix once I found the little accessories that came with the machine:)
Gaggia Cadorna will not dispese coffee. Grinds coffee, dispenses milk but no coffee. Nothing coming out of coffee dispenser, water into bottom tray and coffee puck tray. Is this now just garbage?

Yes. Seal had to be replaced. Really simple fix. You can see it when you take the cover off. Sega Fredo Zanetti did it for me.
Hi Folks, my gaggia Cadorna Prestige has the on off light blinking constantly unless I disconnect the power. Anyone have any recommendations ? I did a descale but that didn’t work so what should I try next. Thanks Ningaloo

Gaggia Cadorna currently just wasting coffee and milk. Dispensing milk, grinds coffee but no coffee dispensed.

Just went to make a coffee and the machine is telling me to insert water spout, but points to the milk carafe. Water jug is full, grounds container is empty and milk carafe is inserted properly. Have opened up side of machine, everything looks to be okay, pulled apart and brushed off and reinserted. Machine is less than a month old. Bought it as we have the same brand at work and I’m in charge of cleaning it, so no need to go through the process of learning about another machine. Called the 1300 number that is supposed to work Saturdays and is not operating. I need coffee! Has anyone else experienced the same thing

All good, I wasn't going to let it beat me. Remembered that it came with a couple of extra spare parts. grabbed what looked like a spout and inserted it where the milk carafe goes, immediately it released boiling water, note to ones self, do not put your fingers anywhere near it. Know for next time. I do a rinse after every coffee, but it obviously needed something else. Just a pity that wasn't mentioned in the manual

I have a Gaggia Milano prestige- everything works except the dispensing of the coffee itself - it grinds the beans but nothing comes out (no water) obviously I cannot descale- it won’t rinse but I can get hot water and milk dispensed ? I’ve changed the grinding setting to grind a corse too any help would be appreciated thank you

Is the Gaggia Cadorna prestige compatible with a milk fridge? The kind with a hose running from the milk in the fridge straight to the machine?
I’ve just finished setting up my Gaggia cadorna barista plus and have hit the power button to turn the machine off. The button has been flashing ever since. Please is there a way to get this to stop? I get migraines and even the slightest light disturbance can set me off so I can foresee this being an issue. There is no Master Switch and there is nothing in the manual addressing this.

No, sorry. I’ve doubled up gaffer tape and drawn the symbol on it and stuck it over with sticky tape! I’m thinking about getting a power board with individual switches and attaching that to the wall (my machine is plugged into a socket behind the fridge) so I can switch it off. I haven’t figured out if that will reset the favourites though…
I reached out to Gaggia and they said this is normal behavior and that the only way to get it to stop is to unplug the unit. Seems like a big design flaw to me.
That’s a shame. I agree - huge design flaw. I’m really happy with it otherwise, but a master switch seems like a no-brainer. They always have in the past I wouldn’t even think to double check as it seems like such a standard thing to have. Hope you enjoy the machine otherwise!
I keep trying to make a cappuchino or latte and it asks me to add coffee grounds, there is already ground coffee in the machine. It’s brand new today. I’m not happy, I’ve spent so much money and it is not as easy as it said it was.
My prestige doesn't recognize the Milk frother . Keeps saying insert and it's inserted!!!

We have a Gaggia Cadorna Prestige that is just 13 months old. The milk frothing has stopped working again and only steam comes out. This is the second time this issue has happened and we aren’t getting any real help from the shop we bought it from. We have done repeated cleaning. We’ve run water through on frothed milk repeatedly but still nothing when we try milk.very disappointing for a very expensive machine. Our last machine was fantastic and we had no problems. The first cup in the morning is fine then just steam comes out. I really am getting frustrated. What can be done?
I am having the exact same problem and am interested in any solution. I have since taken the jug entirely apart, cleaned ever bit and now it works fine. There were some solid milk particles that must have blocked the frothing.

I tried the deep clean, but no water dispensed from the spout during deep clean. I've also taken apart each piece several times and reassembled perfectly well, and still no milk frothing! This occurred after 4 weeks of use. Totally new machine! Very displeased. Would not recommend this machine.
