Garnier Ambre Solaire Bronzing Oil Questions & Answers
Is this the same as it was in the 1980s ?
Where can I obtain the gorgeous original oil I used 40 years ago? It had a certain smell that the newer oil doesn't have.
Yes, the Garner version of Amber Solaire does not smell like the original at all, but it does work quite well. It is still made in France. The bottle is amber but the liquid is colourless and without the former strong aroma. FPS 10. Available online with some searching.
thank you but the whole reason I wanted it was because of the fragrance . It would fly off the shelves if it was produced again.
What happened to the original smell ?
The original scent was heavenly and said, "Holiday!" like no other product. The current version is pretty underwhelming.
