for them. We suffered extended financing delays with our bank when the first bill came due, and GJ soaked that up too, though they had the right to penalize us. Then, with building well underway, we ran into all sorts of sector-wide problems beyond anyone’s control – skyrocketing inflation, supply chain blockages, a lack of timber, a shortage of specialist skills and tradesmen. For all these reasons, the build took longer than both we and GJ expected, close to 18 months. During this crisis, larger fixed-contract home-building companies in Australia collapsed. GJ didn’t.

We got to the final home handover months behind schedule, but we got our house, and it’s lifechanging. We have friends in the building and construction industry and they notice the quality of the work and the attention to detail in our home. There were difficult moments and frustrations on both sides, but they took care of it all and the result is a beautiful, high-quality house that is more than we ever hoped for. It’s a joy to live in.

Great Experience – Excellent experience, Jane our consultant worked with us tirelessly to get our design nutted out and approved. have some delays due to weather and trade shortages but our site supervisor Mitch was very good at relaying any information he had. He always took our calls and kept us up to date. He was also really good at making changes as we went or rectifying any issues that came up during the build. We were extremely happy with Mitch as our supervisor. Finally Donna, such a positive and pleasant person to deal with. She has been looking after our post construction issues, which are few. Very prompt service and nothing is too much trouble. All in all it was a great experience dealing with the GJ Gardner Sydney North team and the final product is amazing. Very well built and we love our new home!!

The build process was very smooth, and any challenge was easily managed by the team. We were able to get updates along the way, and GJ's were very accommodating to any changes we had as well as making so many great suggestions to help us.

We cannot fault GJ's Sydney - North on any area. They were transparent, open, reliable and ultimately created a fantastic new home for our family. We would happily recommend GJ's to any potential prospect, and will certainly use the team again for any future plans.

during the build, but at fit out, handover and beyond. Our house was water bombed by the heaviest rainfall Sydney has ever had just a few days after moving in. It held up magnificently. Any issues we have had since moving in have been rectified promptly and professionally. The GJ team identified (and corrected) issues that we hadn't noticed! Knockdown Re-build – Our build was managed extremely well. We were provided with weekly updates of progress and we knew who to talk to when necessary. The workmanship and quality is first rate.
