2011 tm trans oil capacity as doing filter but can't find capacity and no dip dtck
I am soooo over the poor performance, unreliability & insane repair costs of this
Small dot of transmission fluid leak overnight Been parked up two days It's booked for a transmission gasket &check up Can I drive it a short distance as I need to seea doctor today for a PCR test I will also drive it to the the transmission gasket place 47k on a M1 freeway in afew weeks There is no way to check the level should I just replace some fluid? When driving the car should I drive a bit slower?
barina 2014 cdx gear level gets stuck when i try to put it into gear and it is on auto and is my car been recalled saw on here they are for the same thing happing to me,
2018 holden barina auto dipstick location or does it come up on dash as a fault and location of top up point,my Holden's faced forward with no computers
Unfortunately there is no dipstick for the trans the only way to tell now is running the car and un-doing the bolt but even then it’s not certain best to check with or contact a mechanic

Have changed my coil pack plus spark plugs MAF, MAP sensors I have also had timing done crack sensor rotter wheel and cat converter done and still running a little rough

Have a 2014 Barina ,central locking goes bananas when u put the car into another gear.Car drives but then central locking goes off & when I mean off I mean locking unlocking locking unlocking,car revs out the display on dash flickers from D to R to P etc.Driving me bonkers,have changed battery & alternator & it’s still doing it.Taken it to numerous auto electricians & when plugging in the computer to do a diagnostics there’s nothing …no code nada.So they’re dumbfounded & say when it does it bring it & we’ll try to run diagnostics ,again by the time I take it to them.I’m no auto electrician but my opinion is that something is triggering the car into not knowing wat gear it’s in.PLEASE HELP…had enough of spending more money on it.
You have some sort of earthing problem to cause this occurrence or alternatively a loose or bad connection. If I were to look at the car and based on your explanation of the fault I would disconnect and reconnect all plugs and jacks after inspection of the connecting pins and then I would check all earthing points. Yes it would be time consuming as you would have to remove door cards, cluster etc but it may well rectify the fault. If after performing these tasks the problem was still there , I would not charge you for the work. I have had many times with weird faults on cars that have consumed a lot of time but in reality it is unfair to charge the full amount as over the years if you find it once you will see it again , however the next time would take a fraction of time to fix so I would consider it a learning experience. We mechanics and technicians should understand that we don’t know all and are constantly learning. Just my thoughts on your problem and how I would approach it . Cheers hope i helps somewhat

Hi there, I recently purchased a 2013 manual TM Barina and had no problems with it until Christmas Day. I was on a 140 km road trip sitting on 110kms for quite a while. Pulled over for a stop and noticed the radio didn't switch off after locking the car. Didn't think much of it until the drive home and reached suburbia and noticed the headlights would flicker when stopping at lights and the radio would switch off and restart, sometimes with a blank screen. Next day, another road trip and all seemed good until changing lanes on a freeway, indicator on and the traction control switched off, radio and lights issues when back in town. Drove a small trip the next day and all seemed fine as normal. Any ideas???
So my little mario go kart is an auto, i’ll short drive to the end of my street and put my foot on the gas it goes to stall or does stall sometimes it’ll rattle to change gears, sometimes has high revs. Long drives the bluetooth, radio, speedo and cruise control cut out, the car won’t centrally lock nor will it start a few hours later. It’s but recently and regularly serviced yet an 89 service code continuously comes up that 3 different non holden mechanics cannot clear nor can they find the issue. I’m taking it to holden in Tuesday to sort out and need to know any idea’s on the issue or if i may be able to blame it on a manufacturing issue as i’ve had the car for 4 years now and only started this problem in December.
When accelerating and picking up speed the car struggles a bit and feels like it's backfiring, or like the engine is fluttering.. don't know how to explain It exactly. Does anyone have any sort of an idea of what could be the issue please?????

Have a 2012 Holden Barina hatch 8 months ago I replaced the engine and transmission i don't no what to do today when I got to 60 K the car started shuttering felt like no power the engine light come on a traction control also have can't afford to spent another cent on this concidering on the old engine I had replaced the spark plug and coil pack and range hood cover? Before having to replace the hole engine no... I only received 6 months warranty that had run out 2 months ago
My 2014 barina just done the same thing. The ESC light started flickering and the engine light came on and the engine felt shaky like it was miss firing. My car only has 79,000 km on the odometer. Did you get your car checked by a mechanic?
Yes I did I had to re replace the coil pack and spark plugs costing 700 for parts and labour
I faced the same thing. Firstly got an obd reader from ebay for $17 to confirm a misfire. The genuine coils part was $354. Got a chinese one on ebay for $109. Replaced the coils and spark plugs myself. It is not difficult at all and i am not a mechanic. Just look up instructions on youtube. Has been running fine with no trouble.

There is no dipstick for the gearbox. There is a way to check the fluid level if you try to refill it. Search for flush transmission fluid on Chevy Sonic/ Cruze on Youtube.
Hi I have a 2010 Barina spark and water keeps getting in under the spare wheel in the boot. I cant see where its coming from. Is this a common problem and can anyone help me with where it could be from? I run the air conditioner a lot and thought maybe there was a blockage and subsequent overflow but someone said that would result in water in the front of the car not the rear. Thanks.
Check the seal around your hatch or could be coming through your tail lights just a elimination proces + there is a plastic plug in the spare wheel well pull it out if you get water accumulation and it will drain
Thanks, checked around the seals and tail lights, no evidence of water getring in. Will keep looking! :)
