Wayne Marc has been an iconic builder, very well-known and respected in the Northern region covering Kilmore, Wallan, Broadford etc. Kalen and Keegan took over the family business from their parents, and boy not only they have maintained the legacy of their father, they have taken it several notches higher. They are wonderful young brothers, who are very hard working, never shy of doing odd jobs by themselves when there is a need, wonderfully honest and straight forward. They delivered more than what they committed to, and were always available to discuss and address to our concerns and queries. They have been very flexible and very keen to meet our needs and expectations. It is very rare that a builder would allow other trade persons to be on building site, to accommodate time saving for the investor. Keegan and Kalen were extremely helpful throughout our journey during our first major development project.

While you may stumble across red tapes laid by council and other statutory bodies, Keegan and Kalen make sure that they help you as much as they practically can to help with affairs that don’t concern them. One more thing, Hotando Homes Wallan are not budget builders, so don’t expect low quality material and work. But they are worth every cent that you pay them.

The surrounding team were also excellent with special mentions to Danielle, Steve, Matt and Lyall who were all practical, super helpful and great communicators. A year on and the house is performing well. On sunny winter days I can even turn off my heating (one split system). Altogether a surprisingly stress free and highly positive building experience. The quality and finishes of our home are perfect and just how we envisioned it. We were amazed with the finishes of paint and plaster, the measurements are spot on with the plans. We are very happy with our recently built house in Moama. The build took less than six months, and this included a break over Christmas. The job was managed well, and ran smoothly most of the time, with materials and trades well organized. All the workers did a great job, and were friendly and courteous to us. I would not recommend hotondo homes in Ararat we built with them in 2018 and now have water leaking outside our shower. It comes out between the tiles on our wall outside the shower when we turn our shower on and has made our door frame bow. No stars. Pathetic Builder – Stay away. Builder has yet to re-attend to rectify issues as they believe the issues are not theirs. We have experienced constant plumbing issues.
