You may have the cord wound on the spool the wrong way. If you seperate the spool from the head you should see an arrow on the spool indicating the direction to wind the new cord on. Tip - I feed my cord on with a finger between the 2 lengths of cord as I winf=d it onto the spool( it just helps seperating the 2 sides as you wind the cord on )

How are the fuel hoses attached between the fuel tank (2 x fuel hoses exiting tank, 1 fuel hose with filter in tank, the other a fuel overflow/return) and the fuel bulb and carby. Husqvarna whipper snipper 322L

I cannot get the cord to unwind when I hit the head on the ground. I pull the cord out manually before I start but then it retracts back into the head. The result is that there is hardly any cord to whipper snip with. Any suggestions/remedies?
