My husqvarna LTH1797 deck is no longer any good. Can't afford a new one SO can I replace the deck with a second hand deck off a LT 1597? Will it fit?

Blades won’t drop . Cable and springs seem tight from the handle to the blades but the don’t drop. Belt seems loose but does it tighten when the blades drop?

I was mowing the lawn and the engine stopped, as if the key had been turned off. Have done all the usual checks, fuel, oil and loose wires etc., but the mower will not start again. Anyone had the same problem and if so what was it ?
