I have a jayco expanda outback 2016 model. We had an external shower fitted. It doesn’t seem to get any water to it. I turn the taps on and press the button on the shower head and nothing happens. Any help? I there a step I am missing. Mains water connected - sink tap working ...
Can the power sockets in van work from battery if free camping? And what items work ??
Only the 12 volt outlets can work from the battery. If you have 240 volt appliance you well need either a generator or an inverter for off the grid camping. I have all 12 volt TV etc.
We have a 17.56-2 outback expanda. Toilet worked fine, in the morning it wouldn't flush, it made the noise but the water was not not- emptied the cassette, put it back in and still no flushing water but you can hear the pump working. We were hooked into mains water. the water is spitting out when first pressing the pump button but then nothing.Any ideas??Do i need to prime the water?? the indicator where the cassette is has no water. Both water tanks are full as well.
Thanks guys
I'll answer my own!!! Sorted it out... the tank was empty. I assumed it was hooked up to the water tanks but realise now this is not the case. The funnel shoot appears to be full all the time which was throwing me as it looked full.
Has anyone else had serious issues with the new 18ft expanda mattresses being to thin and causing restless sleep and sore backs?
Is so, other than buying expensive mattress toppers has anyone found a solution?
Don't buy a Jayco they make the caravan to suit their pocket not yours hence cheap and nasty mattresses and many other items like doors falling off water leaks and the list goes on and on
Hi Kerby's Yeah I totally hear where your coming from. We just spent 3 nights away. The by product being sore backs (both my wife and I). We are also looking at the idea of a mattress topper. The mattresses look like they are made well but I guess they are catering for heavier people. It's hard to cater for all.
If we find s suitable topper I'll let you know.
Regards
Cam
Hi Cam, Between my husband and I we only weigh 150kgs if that. We bought the most expensive and fluffy mattress protector /topper for $300+ from pillowtalk. Even without laying on the mattress you can literally press it down with your hand.
We had the expanda 17ft poptop 2014 bought new prior to upgrading and the mattress was double the thickness of this one.
Regards Kerby's
We use the eggshell mattress topper. It can stay on the bed when folded. It cost about 25 dollars from big W. It is much better than not having it.
My only solution is a mattress topper.I use a bambillo one. Or else sore back
