New Jumbuck Ascent Gas Pizza Oven Pol. All assembled……connected gas bottle, tried with and with out gas aftermarket fuse, get flame to start with igniter, set on high and depress knob for at least 90 seconds, when I allow knob to retract out flame goes out …….any advice please……Leo
Hey Leo, try opening the flue chimney at the top so heat can dissipate from internal oven. You just have to spin the top rain cover on the chimney to open it up. Cheers the doctor . . .
Jumbuck Ascent Gas Pizza Oven - POL The oven won’t heat too much water than 200°F . However the main problem is that it keeps going out I’ve tried various settings from high to low and I’ve also tried blocking off the air vents and I’ve experimented with different regulators and reset the regulators. It keeps going out and the gas is shut off I don’t know which happens first - whether the machine turns the gas off first or it goes off after the flame is blown out anyhow any suggestions would be valuable
Hi mike, as above try opening the chimney flue to let oven breathe. Cheers . . .

I’m not sure about that as you would make the warranty invalid if something went wrong I wouldn’t recommend you did
Can input a light inside the Jumbuck gas pizza oven
No I wouldn’t think so as you would have to drill into the sides which would make the warranty invalid plus you would need heat proof lighting and wire

Ummm. I think that's a question for a professional..
The pizza oven takes a VERY long time to get to a temperature high enough to cook pizzas. Any tips please?
Hi Beez. Ours takes about 20 mins to get to 250 Celsius. (Not sure what a very long time is in terms of duration...). Is it retaining heat once it reaches temperature? Are you preheating with dial on HI? Are you in a particularly cold region with the oven exposed to winds... Sorry for all the questions but it might help in assessing if you have a problem.
Will it reach 800 centigrade and will it have a temperature gauge?
I don't think it's a kiln
You must really like burnt chrip Pizzas, in fact I think 800 C would melt the oven it’s only made of thin sheet metal, good luck
Personally I am not keen on Pizzas cooked at that temperature, they tend to taste like Charcoal
What are rhe internal measurements of this pizza oven?
