I bought a a kenwood food processor modelmk240, the blender section does not work?

Mine did not have a blender, just a pair of beaters which fling the ingredients all around the kitchen. Mine has a plastic cover with quite a large gap at the back to allow it to fit over the beaters. I think it is because the beaters are at almost 45 deg it spits the food up through the gap. I will replace it as soon as I feel confident I am not buying another lemon.

I will put this one (used about half dozen times) into the bin. I would not wish it on anyone.

I did contact kenwood who sent me another cover... But it is a design fault and so is still no use.

For me never, ever another kenwood.

I have a MX260 kenwood mixer. Where can I buy the food processor attachment? From you? If so, how much?

Hi Lisa, Can i ask how much u paid for it? I am thinking to get one but little hessitant as the attachment is rather expesive, over half cost of the mixer it self. You can purchase the food processor attachment at E & S trading.

I am not sure where u live, though they have shop front as well as online whichever suit you.

Here is the link

The cheaper option is for UK but not sure how much the shipping would be.
