Hi David, that's certainly not what we'd expect. When you turn on the vacuum it is in low-speed. Whilst it's running, press the lower button on the handle once to change it to the high power speed setting. We hope this helps!

I had the same problem & after much frustration i was eventually unable to find a charger or charging dock! Anko don't have a spare parts department for thier rechargeable vacuums and if you are lucky enough to find one it will be too expensive, you are actually better off buying a new one.

You can buy a compatible one on eBay very cheap. Just note the specs stamped on the charger and note the connector type. Then use this information to find one

Clean all the filters. They must be cleaned after every use! Probably overheating

The same thing happened to me after one use, i.e.The first time I used it! I emptied & recharged & now it only turns on low- which is useless,not enough sucking power to pick up Anything at all. Was a gift..So I had no receipt to return it

Hi Katrina, I had the same problem with you. Kmart did not give me any useful information. I find Ango product manual in Kmart and get their product support phone and email. When you send the email to them with model number. Their support staff will help you. I got the replacement floor head today. Hope this email address may help you. Your lucky I used mine once. Recharged and cleaned it and it doesn't suck Head just spins on low.

one of two things are easy fixes. 1. hair or string might be preventing the head from spinning? [remove beater bar and clean it and the housing & see if that helped to free it up] hope hope. :) 2. maybe the belt operating it might be broken or jammed? dirty connections?

Hi Will, At the time I had this issue I wasn't able to find any. It's like you rent a vacuum cleaner and you have to pay the price for whatever it takes to die.

Yes ! Just in the last day. I called the number on the back of the vacuum and they wrt were really helpful, whilst they don’t have any in stock they are waiting for parts, they will organise to have a replacement to be sent once they arrive. I’ve had mine just on 12 months. You can over do the battery by having it on charge all the time, I turn mine off when it’s charged but I switch mine off once it is charged.

Have you removed the roller and removed the hairs around it's drum?

I’ve tried to but couldn’t as I don’t have the manual. I’ve looked online on how to do it but the locking clip is different from what my vacuum have.

No Way, I contacted Kmart for it. They don't support for any spare parts. Total waste of money.
