How can I request a suppprt for the TV model shown below.. KALED XUD9230STA. TV. Bought May 2022 SFP/ optical sound connector appears faulty. Cannot connect cable .
You can contact KOGAN but the chances of getting it fixed are slim and expensive. I now stay away from KOGAN like the plague, only have issues with them
Hello My kogan tv has been really good. The TV part is working but the internet side is not Netflix will flash up and all the paid channels them it will go black any ideas or thoughts please

I turned my tv off last night as normal and this morning after turning on stayed completely dark, I could vaguely make out the YouTube symbol after pressing on the remote but it’s like the brightness went to 0 by itself and now I can’t see anything on tv to try and fix it. Any ideas?

Hi, I had this problem. To fix it, go into the live TV settings and turn off Fast Boot.
The TV now appears to turn off altogether i.e. It does not go into standby mode. I have to turn the power switch at the wall off then on to enable the remote to turn on the TV...
Just received 58 inch tv today. set up fine watched for one hour then tv turned off. turned back on again loud bang and smelling of smoke. Have emailed Kogan but can't ring them
Getting a flash of the Kogan name on power up then black screen. 8s this a common issue?
This TV flashes a white "Kogan" for half a second and then goes black without the usual coloured startup globes. I thought the power circuit board was faulty but installing a new one has made no difference. Any ideas about which board actually failed? I tried updating via the USB download and the red / green lights flashed but it still will not power up.

Sounds like a backlight fault, if you shine a torch up to the screen on an angle and you can see the picture a little, its definitely a backlight fault, either the driver board or the backlight LED's inside the screen, most likely it will be inside the screen.
Yes, just out of warranty, paid a TV shop to look at it, and they said backlight, not worth repairing, even if the part could be found. Serves me right for not checking up on this model 58" from Kogan, terrible reviews! It was quite cheap, so got sucked in.
why is my new kogan 58inch smarter tv continually turning itself on all the time, it turns it self on about every two hours, what do i need to do to stop this happening.

Hi I’m just wondering if this tv has the ARC function. I hook up my sound bar via hdmi cable into number 2 as this is the only one that seems to work but it keeps turning the sound bar off after about 5 minutes And I can’t seem to find anywhere in the menu to switch it on Cheers
Sorry Shane, don't know. Likelihood if it snot working is that there is an issue with the TV .I hope you don't get the same level of support I'm getting form Kogan. As I'm taking them to VCAT there is no after hours support and their products are sub standard.
Does anybody know where i can turn off the message im getting on the screen which tells me my TV is about to turn off then i have to press OK button to stop the tv from turning off

Hi I bought a the Kogan Smarter TV 58" 2 weeks ago and it keeps turning itself on at random times. Also TENPLAY does not work. Other people seem to have the same issues as me. Is there any resolution to these issues? Is the TV faulty?
I think it has finally been sorted out.After 5 different firmware updates it has now been 4 days and it hasn't turned on for no reason.Ive been back and forth with kogan for 3 months.Email Kogan and they will send a link for the updated firmware.I will have to try ten play haven't really used 10.only 7,9 and SBS.
My TV only turned on by itself once and I assumed that was for a rescheduled program recording. I believe the 10 play issue is related to the android compatibility but hopefully the firmware fixed that issue.
I just tried my ten play and it only plays the commercials and then goes back to ten play menu.
Thanks for the answers. Kogan have told me that they are still waiting on a firmware fix. Also that is what happens when I try to play a show on Tenplay. It plays the ads then goes back to the menu. Frustrating.
I was just about to buy this tv but after reading these reviews I most definitely will not! Anyway, here is a possible solution from Kogan support, I found this on another aussie forum: "Normally, these TV's will turn on at night due to not having the TV completely turned off. This can be solved by disabling a setting on your TV called "quick boot". This acts to fully turn off your TV so that applications cannot wake it up and turn on the screen, similarly to turning off an Android phone completely rather than just the screen."
Thank you. Yes I also found this out too. I turned off quick boot and it fixed the problem.
Can you tell me how and where i will find the quick boot to fix this problem as its happening now every day to me, i have looked on the systems on the remote control but cannot find it in the menu - thanks in advanced
If you choose Source on the remote control and switch to one of your HDMI connected devices (this doesn't work from the Android TV home screen), you then press the Menu key on remote Menu>Setup and you will see a Fast Boot option. Change this to off. Next time you turn TV off it will prompt you to shutdown Android TV and it will power it off completely. Only downside is it will take longer each time you turn the TV on for everything to load.

How do I pair my remote with TV? What exactly does the press and hold the Left + Home buttons mean? Which hold the Left + ?
Go to the android settings menu and go to Bluetooth settings.start scanning Bluetooth networks.on your remote press the home button which has a house on it and press the left button on the 4 way pad .this should make the remote start flashing green.

What Steve Said, alternatively press the remote button and then when it stars searching for a bluetooth device, press the Home (house) button and the Left navigation ( < ) button. This will put your remote in pairing mode. When you see your remote listed on the left hand side, press ok to pair it, Once paired you can start using the remote microphone.
