How is it on hills ?
Why are so many negative reviews about Kubota, my local company here in Mims does well by me. I have an older B2620 with loader and backhoe that has a lot of hours on it and I never had any trouble except fuel filter I replaced once and a broken hydraulic line, they make their own lines so no one has to wait for orders. I am interested in a T2290KW-42, but cant find any reviews on this specific mower. All the reviews are by the people selling them, now isn't that a riot. I have placed an order, they told me three months that should tell me something I guess. The dealer told me that Kubota can't keep up with the manufacturing of this model because they are so popular, now if they are so popular how come no one responds to making a review. Also I asked the person in sales a couple questions and she said I have to look at a brochure and it didn't tell me what I wanted to know. How can you sell a product without a little knowledge of what you are selling.
If you buy a Kubota t2290 in New Zealand have them honour a warranty that is for the three hundred hours promised, and not the year or three hundred hours, as mine was just outside warranty period but had done only 65 hours, has all the issues of belt replacement, brakes going on and then not disengaging, triggering safety override , Norwood here in Christchurch New Zealand charged $100 an hour to fix this, lawnmower has cost $1000 for fixing brake issue and an oval fuel filter … that was leaking over the exhaust and was a factory fault ! Now I discover the brake fault is a well known documented issue! With belts and pulleys and oil filters that need the engine removed to replace. Thankyou Kubota, I’ll not buy one of your diggars for the farm now, because this is how you honour your guarantee, cheers Denise. Ps Be warned if you are thinking of buying one of these,!

I am 77 years old and and have mowed a lot of grass with every type mower you can imagine. The mulching kit for the T2290 is amazing I have never seen any mulching mower work as complete as this one. I have mowed st augustine grass that is 8 to 10 inches tall and not left a track of clippings. That grass is really thick and this mower will handle it.
why does the darn mower steer so hard there are no grease joint any where on the mower I guess that another way of ripping off the buyer no grease means quicker ware out
Superoakie. That was the first thing I noticed also, it's like steering an old 1950's car with no powersteering and two front tires flat. I will admit after twenty hours on the mower it seems easier or I am getting stronger.
