Lawson's Traditional Bread Wholemeal Stone Milled Questions & Answers
It tastes bitter, is it still ok to consume? I bought this morning from coles.
we used to eat a loaf of lawsans wholemeal bread daily but cant afford an increase of $2.20 ,we expected prices to go up but an overnight jump like this has put it out of my reach,pity cause its a great tasting bread,why such a big price rise?

I don't specifically know where to buy in Sale, but generally the only supermarket that sells the whole meal variety is Coles.
I live in Blackwater Central Queensland and the only place I can get Wholemeal Bread is Coles Emerald. We go to Emerald on an average of once a week. If we do not get there before lunch they have sold out. We have a Woolworths here in Blackwater and they carry the other Lawsons Breads but no Wholemeal. I have asked them to get it but for some reason they can not get it. What can you do about it?
I guess you could always try writing to Goodman Fielders who make Lawson's bread. Their conact details are located on the web at external link You could ask them if they would be able to supply Woolworths. It may be that there is not a lot of customers who want it..

Why can't we get the wholemeal stone milled variety in Burnie Tasmania any more this is by far the best bread I have ever tasted and now I can't buy it
Not sure Chris...it's a shame you can't find it. But Lawson's bread is really great.
