I have a DVH5-08W Heat Pump Dryer. Purchased in November 2020. It now just tumbles without drying, just leaves me with warm wet clothes no matter how long they are in there. Of course, it is just out of warranty. Are these appliances designed to only last 2 years? Very disappointed. It worked marvellously, until it didn't. I don't think I will get another LG.
Have you talked to a repair person to find out what's going wrong? Might be something small like a filter, a little electrical issue or whatever. Regardless of the LG warranty, you may be covered by the Australian Consumer Guarantee, if a dryer is expected to last more than 2 years. Google the ACCC.
I've had a number of different LG appliances in the past, including this dryer now, and they've been very reliable and lasted a long while.

Please help me stop shrinking my clothes. I’ve had the DVH5-08W dryer for about a month now and every time I’ve used it I’ve ruined clothes. I can’t afford to keep doing this and don’t understand what I’m getting wrong. Please help
Sounds like the heat is on too high for too long? I found reducing the heat and lengthening the cycle fixed that issue.

Did you have any luck with lg? I've had mine 2 years and only ever used easy care, but recently every time it has started shrinking clothes
