I'm not sure, I think it has been upgraded, the new combi oven is what they call a SolarDom, much better than mine! As the heater is infrared!, Just make sure it's a steam/micro/solardom combo.

The MP-9289VSD is our current model.

Well Harvey Norman, Warehouse Sales and your customer support line have told me different(mind you i had to call twice to find out the answer from LG). Ive been told that the MA3281T is the latest model.

Apparently the LG MP-9289VSD has become obsolete.

Thank you both for your replies.

Ive been doing a lot thought and study into buying a new Convection Micro oven, just making an enquiry..

Can you cook with two trays/racks in the oven, so you can cook cookies simultaneously on 2 levels or will it stop the heat/air circulating?

Hi Tigerlillys,

I have never used two tray, and actually, only one tray is supplied. I would ask LG, if I were you. It's a great oven though!!

cheers

Hi! I put sweet potatoes and all other roasting veg in together with the meat, cut fairly small, otherwise they will take too long! I have never eaten a frozen pie, so cant tell you! I would think that the steam/convection function would still be very fast, hope this helps

What do you mean The microwave can't be "built in"?-are you saying that it has to go on the bench, rather than in a built-in space where a microwave would normally be kept?

Hello EVM, This oven is more than a microwave, it is a steam and convection oven as well, it needs good ventilation. I would suggest asking LG, but having used it for several months now, there is a bit of condensation that needs to be vented away.

I am an appliance repairer, and am constantly seeing appliances that don't have enough ventilation, built into little alcoves, this causes all sorts of damage. Ovens are the worse.

I love the oven though, I can put a chicken and veges in and 45 mins later, on steam/convection, it is cooked, crispy and moist.!
