LG WV7 Series Questions & Answers

I have this washing machine just over 2.5 years and i found out the plastic bowl from the tank drum assembly. it has broken with chipping and the water was flooding the room. I found no foreign object in the drum or filter.. Pumping is working fine, I have never with this problem before either LG and other brands. Not so please with the faulty as it is out of warranty.

Is it possible to just use the spin function? My mother soaks items like tea towels overnight and would like to use the machine to spin dry as much as possible before hanging it out to dry.
