It is probably replaceable but I don't know where you could obtain one.

I have found the valve but it looks like it should have a tiny pin through it ( there's a hole either side of it). It's not working properly even when I put the valve in place, so not building up the pressure. Not sure if I can improvise.

There are some on Aliexpress. Just have a hunt through.

Yes, Aldi brings back the Lumina Pressure Cooker every year at almost the same price but with improved features. Aldi has rebranded it as Ambiano Electric Pressure Cooker (6Litres, 1200W). I had used both models and still in good working condition.

I am not sure which month Aldi will sell the rebranded "Ambiano Electric Pressure Cooker" in 2020 after the coronavirus retail havoc. I reckon Aldi will sell it again in the first week of September this year. I had purchased it on 5/09/2018 for $69.99. I still have the original packaging box and it comes with a 3-year warranty. Hope this answer your question.

KMart is selling one for $59. I might look into that one.

The price on the Aldi weekly catalogue that I purchased was $69.99 only.

I always saw the sealer sold online on the Amazon, eBay, Banggood, AliExpress, ChinaBrands, and many other online sellers from China. Usually, this type of sealer is made in China. Just Google and search it under "sealer for the pressure cooker, instant pot, or multi-function cooker". They are the same electrical pressure cooker disguised under a few different names/categories. They even sell it in a few different sealer colours, for you to separate when cooking sweet cookies/cakes so that you don't have beef soup smell on cakes. LOL.

I don't know where you are from, but try to check it from some small kitchenware/accessories retail shops, that usually sell other accessories such as glass-top cover for instant pot, slow cooker, rice cooker etc. They might carry a wide range of cooker/oven accessories stocks as the instant pot is a very popular household item and there is always a demand for additional accessories such as the strainer, steamer basket, egg steamer rack etc. I bought a spare sealer from one of this shop. Just bring along the old sealer to match the diameter.

Aldi sell them at random times, you will find one eventually if you are prepared to wait a bit, otherwise have a look on Ebay, Aldi products are sold on there quite often.

If none of your power points are faulty, then I think the appliance must be faulty, I would return it.

If you are handy with small electronics, try unscrewing the bottom and looking for the fuse-you can find another electronic express or Amazon, or you could just take the fuse out and straight wire it without the fuse but you most likely wouldn't be able to use the controls if you chose that bcuz it would stay on continuiously-plug in on, plug out off. Hope this helps
