When I try to engage the blades the motor turns off. And the level lever won’t engage in the highest level (4). Is there an easy solution.

Hi there, Where can i obtain the Deflector for the Grass shute for this, also i need a wiring Diagram.
Try Masport direct I have had success previously getting parts from them direct
Where can you buy replacement grass catcher bags for this R 7? My mower is only 6 months old, yet the bag has small holes in it and the dealer told me "good luck in finding one". This is very disappointing if Masport can;t supply parts for a product only 6 months old.
As it has failed in the 24 month warranty then contacting Masport direct may assist. The part number is 416226 for the catcher bag. Alternatively any canvas manufacturer can replace the canvas on the bag
We concur Lordy. The catcher bag is readily available and the part number is 416226 and in stock. You can purchase through any Masport service agent or any Bunnings store at the special orders desk. Mower brand new will not engage cutting deck motor keeps cutting out ?

where is the engine no located
The engine serial number will be on the side of the fuel tank (and occasionally the engine shroud) but it is hard to see as the engine is enclosed. We have a photo of what it looks like, so email csau@masport.com.au and we'll send it to you. Kind regards, The Masport Team.

Hi I bought this mower R7-65-8 HD Hydrostatic version about two years ago and I have this problem from first day. When I want manually to move mower to another place it is very hard to move it. To me looks like that is all ways staying in the gears and not disengages to move it freely like when you have manual mower and put it in neutral position to move it. Does anyone have this problem? Any help will be appreciated. Thanks Donald

7.3 Pushing the ride-on mower (03, 19) CAUTION! Danger when pushing on slopes! Only push the ride-on mower on horizontal surfaces! On slopes, the ride-on mower could roll downhill uncontrollably. Pushing with manual transmission 1. Release the parking brake (03/G) (see chapter 5.3 "Brake/clutch pedal (05), brake pedal (06)", page 37). 2. Move the selector lever (03/B) to the N position. Pushing with foot hydrostat transmission The bypass lever (19/1) is located at the rear in the lower area of the rear wall. Bypass release: 1. Pull out the bypass lever (19/1). 2. Release the parking brake (see chapter 5.3 "Brake/clutch pedal (05), brake pedal (06)", page 37). The ride-on mower can now be pushed. 3. After pushing, reset the bypass lever (19/1) to enable the hydrostatic transmission again
I have only had my R7 65.8HD for 10 months and it doesn’t want to start. Also the plastic has deteriorated and broken off the mower in some parts. It’s really frustrating as I love this mower but I keep having issues with it
Hi, do your best to get a refund and definitely purchase a different brand from a reputable mower place. I finally got a refund on mine after 7 mths of hell. Good luck Emma.
