We could not be happier with our pre-construction service with pre-site Manager [name removed] - what an asset to your team. [name removed] was very accommodating at our Studio M visit and she continued to not disappoint. [name removed] has been wonderful, she certainly has stood out, she has been patient, gives excellent advice, follows up, returns calls and her attention to detail is excellent. [name removed] deserves a five star rating to be noted for excellent customer service.

It's been so fortunate and grateful having allocated [name removed] as our pre site manager. She has been very prompt, attentive to all our request regardless big or small. She responds to us even after hours which is so out of our expectation. Her expertise and professionalism is definitely big bonus to make this journey as smooth as possible! - How well managed was your build?
The builder changed around 8 project managers during the building. It took 16 months for the building.
- How was the workmanship and build quality of your property?
Generally acceptable.
- If you had any issues pre, post, or during construction, how satisfied are you with how the company handled them?
Depending on the project managers, the issue fixing can be slow and painful. But I am quite satisfactory with the working attitude of the construction manager Greg and his team during the handover. Without him, the handover would not be possible.
- How did your final cost compare to your estimated cost?
The same.

He helped us design a floor plan to suit our family and lifestyle. He explains every line item in the estimate, pre tender and contract - nothing is too much trouble. [name removed] expertise and calm attentive to detail was so much appreciated- expertise and empathy

Pre construction phase has been excellent. We had a number of changes required due to trees and they were handled easily and with great efficiency. We felt like our manager was always a step ahead and explained any concerns we had well ahead of time.
We are looking forward to the next phase of our build.

Hi Daniel,

I have emailed the above and called the general line many times and left messages as there is no direct line to Service and Warranty Department.

No one got back to me.

I ended up getting a plumber yesterday and spent $340 to get the toilet fixed which I am not happy about.

I also included in my email to Service and Warranty Department that none of my doors are locking - a gust of wind will open all doors including bathroom doors! I have a few other issues as well that I had included in the email to Service and Warranty.

It will be great if someone can get back to me please. My email is

How to dissipate the toxic air, e.g. formaldehyde? and how long would it take?

Hi Ben,
Thank you for your recent question to Metricon. Formaldehyde does not persist for long in the environment. When it is present in the air, most of it degrades to molecular hydrogen and carbon monoxide. Should it be a concern, we suggest opening up the doors and windows which will help to lower levels in the home.
