We’ve also been very impressed with the way Damien manages the construction schedule. The Base Stage was completed within about a month, and the transition between each stage and trade has been very smooth and well coordinated. He keeps us informed about the progress on site and what’s coming up next, which gives us a lot of confidence in the whole process.
We feel very fortunate to have Damien managing our build. Based on our experience so far, we’re confident that under his management, the rest of our home will continue to progress in a well-planned, organised and high-quality manner.

setbacks, but overall, I think Luke did a great job of ensuring the experience was as smooth as possible. Communication was consistent, and he went through on all of his promises. Got the house built well well well ahead of schedule, which means we were able to move in sooner. He was consistently professional, approachable and genuinely easy to work with. He kept us well informed throughout the build, communicated clearly and was always happy to answer our questions.
Probably most important part which we appreciate was he took a very practical approach to issues. Whenever an issue arose, Luke was quick to assess it, communicate our options and work towards a sensible solution. He solved problems efficiently and pragmatically, which gave us a lot of confidence that our home was in good hands.
He was also incredibly accommodating and always willing to go the extra mile where he could. It never felt like we were just another project. He took pride in the work being carried out by the contractors, for example, pointing out errors and requesting rectification on small details even we did not notice. The resulting home is a beautiful one, and I would not hesitate to choose Luke again if I were building.

We have found him to be extremely reliable and trustworthy, and his willingness to assist has made the entire process much easier and more reassuring for us.
One particular example was the pre-plaster inspection. He spent approximately two hours with us carefully walking through the site, explaining the current condition and progress of the build, and answering all of our questions and concerns in detail. He was very patient throughout the inspection and took the time to make sure we fully understood everything. His knowledge, attention to detail, and willingness to help gave us a great deal of confidence in the quality and progress of our home.
We would also like to recognise our Building Coordinator, Alyssa. She has been extremely responsive and professional in her communication. The information she has provided has consistently been clear, reliable, and helpful, and we greatly appreciate how promptly she responds to our questions and follows up on matters.
Both of them have demonstrated a genuine commitment to providing a positive customer experience. Their professionalism, responsiveness, patience, and attention to detail have made a significant difference to us throughout the building process.

Luke was extremely professional, knowledgeable and clearly knows his stuff. He was helpful not only throughout construction but also after completion, and was always willing to address questions and find practical solutions. Most importantly, Luke delivered the project ahead of schedule, within budget and to a high standard of workmanship. That is a significant achievement and deserves recognition. Kudos to Luke for taking ownership of the build and making sure the end result met expectations. There were some challenges and delays during the earlier stages of the process, and I think the pre-site phase could benefit from stronger coordination and support. However, the construction team did a great job recovering the time and keeping the overall project on track. cool-headed throughout, and he took the time to understand how we felt about things rather than just ticking boxes. What stood out most was that he treated our home as if he were building it for himself — he cared about it coming up practical and looking good, not just meeting spec. He was accommodating and helpful at every turn, and that made a real difference to how we experienced the whole build.
Building a home is a big job with a lot of people involved, and what stood out to us was how well the team worked together. Our site supervisor Tommy, manager Aiden, and construction coordinator Tayla were consistently communicative and kept us in the loop throughout. When things came up, they coordinated between themselves and sorted them out without letting the build timeline slip. That's not easy to do, and we appreciated it.
The one area we'd flag for improvement is the pre-site and contract preparation stage. Some documentation gaps meant a few things had to be corrected before construction, which took extra time. To be fair, the team worked hard to resolve them and made sure it didn't flow through to the build. But tightening up documentation and checks at that early stage would make the journey smoother for future customers.
Overall, a positive experience and a home we're very happy with.
Metricon is fast, they took only 5-6 months to build 56 sq home without compromising quality and finish. Great work team!!!
