Microsoft Lumia 640 LTE (2015) Questions & Answers

I'm a very basic user of mobile phones. I have just upgraded from a Lumia 640 LTE to a Nokia 5.1 Android. My main reason was that Microsoft will no longer support WhatsApp after December this year. I find the Nokia far superior as it is not tied to Windows apps.

It unclips off. The dirctions say to press your thumb down firmly into the middle of the back of the phone whilst using your finger nail of your other hand near the top edge of front glass (near the word Microsoft) to pull back and unclip the back cover.

Overall I would say yes. But I have noticed quite a significant increase in the volume of Win 10 updates/fixes coming through. Not a major problem but nearly all require a full restart and at least once I needed to re-add contacts. So make sure you have a list of your contacts before upgrading, just in case.

thanks Steve, I'll give it a go.........OK I updated to win 10, it crashed a lot and the keyboard disappeared. I tried three hard restarts which pretty well bricked it then I downloaded a windows recovery tool to my laptop and successfully flashed the phone with a fresh win 8.1. It's running fine now.
