Mitsubishi LV16 Questions & Answers
VerifiedI purchased 2x LV16S-RU-PCY-GY pedestal fans 3 years ago. I used them both with great satisfaction. Great fans, powerful, relatively quiet. Currently out of manufacturers warranty.
One of the fans has stopped working. The lights on the control panel are on but there is no spinning. I can move blades manually - no friction. However the power is not reaching the blades.
I would love to be able to repair the fan. Any suggestions?

Please advise on the price and availability of a replacement remote control for an LV16 Pedestal Fan purchased some years ago. I have tried various parts suppliers for a replacement – but none can help with a replacement remote control unit.
Remote control has died! Do you know how I get a replacement?
The fan fuse is blown what could be the fault circuit board show no sign of short circuit?
Can I get an user brochure for this equipment

Take it back. I never fixed it.
Hi, I have just assembled my new LV16-RR-P and found that the remote control does not work with the unit. I have checked the output of the remote (using a digital camera) and it is sending a signal. There is absolutely no response from the fan to any remote key presses. what can I do?

Just bought a LV16S-RT-P and it has an annoying electrical hum. Is this normal or should I do a warranty claim?
I'm sorry but all I can say is that there is no electrical hum on my fan and so that appears to be a problem you should see to.
I agree with Kathy. No electrical hum on my fan either . Mitsubishi have a 2 year warranty!

Hi, I have searched the net for a place to buy this fan either in South Australia or online and I can't find one place that sells it. Please help!?
Hi Kitty,
Harvey Norman Gepps Cross (08) 8342 8888 should have some in stock. If not, should only take a couple of days to order one in.

I really want to buy this fan and live near the Sydney CBD. Is there anywhere I can purchase it at the moment? It doesn't appear to be in stock anywhere yet.
I've only ever seen it at Harvey Norman in Perth so I'm unable to help you regarding the East coast. Sorry!
You can buy it at Electro Seconds in Villawood NSW or Applicance Centre in Auburn NSW. Please look them up on-line for full address. If not order/pay for on-line including free delivery.
I live in Newcastle...where can I buy Mitsubishi Electric LV16-RR-P SF-GY?
Hi, I live in Brisbane. I got mine at JB Hi-Fi home store on-line (Brisbane) which was just before Christmas 2014. They don't seem to have it at the moment - I guess because it is winter so have to wait for summer before re-stock. Suggest you try Billy Guyatt's on-line and pay extra for delivery $15.
