It is absolutely critical the highchairs are assembled correctly and every single bolt is tightened as stated in the Assembly Instructions. If this is the case, the seat would be firmly in place and not be able to be moved by hand, or even with a decent amount of force from an adult.

We recommend the following:

Loosen all of the screws on the highchair, and position the seat and feet plates at the required levels. Make sure the footboard is 3 spaces below the top metal rod. Then working in a methodical manner, begin by tightening the bottom left screw before then tightening the bottom right screw. Continue in this manner, alternating from left to right, working your way up to the top of the High Chair. When it comes to the tightening the two metal rods, please alternate tightening each side gradually until fully tightened. If you have two allen keys available you can work simultaneously in opposite directions on each side. This will ensure the pieces lock into place and have the correct tension and the highchair is balanced.

We also have replacement harnesses available if anyone feels they require a new harness, and will continually improve the harness with our manufacturers.
