Nature's Bounty Melatonin Questions & Answers
Am I better off to get a script from my Dr?
I have just started taking Melatonin, and think I am having a huge side effect of dizziness. Has anybody had this side effect?
As far as I know all the Melatonin sold in Australia is of only homeopathic strength so there is no way it could make you feel dizzy. Check the label to see if is says'Homeopathic' in very small print somewhere - the 'real stuff' would say Img, 2mg or 3mg.etc on the label. If you don't understand how homeopathy waorks, Google it.
I just bought Natures Bounty Melatonin 1 mg. I drink Camomile tea. Is there any harm in taking them together?
Yes, fine, this Melatonin is only homeopathic strength, it is not the the real thing
What does the triple strength in Natures bounty melatonin 3mg mean?
Melissa, It means an increased potency of homeopathic melatonin. Still not the real thing. Proper Melatonin is not permitted for sale in Australia, that's why they are trying to sell homeopathic forms of the hormone. Perhaps if you 'Google:' homeopathic medicine - how does it work, it'll explain the difference between this, and regular products. In my experience the homeopathic strengths of melatonin do absolutely nothing. You can however order the real thing from various companies in USA. I get mine from Dr Sahalian's website. You need to know though, that while all their supplements are heaps cheaper, they charge $30.00 postage for whatever you order.Accordingly, I usually order a whole range of other products at the same time.
hope this helps,

I can't figure out how to take it- let it dissolve in my mouth or swollow it with water? I used to use the Jamison brand which would dissolve under my tongue so I'm unsure. Thanks!
It's homeopathic so rinse moputh well then put under tongue 'till dissolved -- really important to rinse well
