Hi can I set the temp on this to 24C to prove bread dough and have my Sourdough cultures sit nice and warm. I ask because it has a temp control and says you can bake? I mean it so many great functions this would make it perfect for me .

Sorry I don't know. Check manual or contact supplier.

Hi love the Ninja Foodie Do you sell a cleaning tool for the air crisper lid? It should come with it really. I feel this is a flaw in the design that needs rectifying for your feedback. Also I have a Tefal Cook for me which has handles on the pot to make it easy to lift out cooking pot. Also it needs another accessory in my opinion which would be handy. A metal stand that fits inside air crisper pot to add another layer . Find it fast and love it.

Pretty sure cleaning the grille itself and just around its circumference is all that is needed /recommended. Getting cleaners and using abrasives on the element would be dangerous, hence the grille being non removable. My previous air fryer was less easily cleaned and did get a bit gross. No problems with the foodi, as long as these parts are kept clean.

Are you going to include the dehydrator in the model purchased in Australia?

Lina

Can't help you Deborah as I am not a supplier of the Ninja Foodi only a humble consumer.

Can I dehydrate chicken breast in an OP300? What setting should I use (it doesn't have a dehydrating setting) and for how long?

Lina
Lina

You are right does not have this setting so I have never done it.

Hi could you tell me what the difference is between the ninja foodi op300 and the op350 pls?

Kay13
Kay13 · Foodi Multi Cooker OP300

Just purchased Ninja OP300, and used for 1st time. When cooking meat on pressure cycle and before pressure built to full pressure, steam was escaping from the valve. Is this usual?

Lina
Lina

Hi Kay13, when pressure cooking no steam should escape valve while pressure is being built. Double check that you set valve to 'Seal'. If pressure is still escaping contact manufacturer. Hope this helps. Lina

Kay13
Kay13

Thanks Lina. Definitely set valve to "Seal". The steam continued to escape prior pressure build, but after 4 uses now, the problem seems to have settled. I will continue to be vigilant. Kay13

My brand new foodi leaks steam from the valve when pressurising too. This stops when up to speed. Anyone else have this happen?

Hi I would like to know how tall this Foodi is? I guess it needs more space than other appliances as one of the lids stays up when it is not in used.. Wanna make sure that I hv enough space before buying it online! Thanks

Lina
Lina

Hi, firstly you won't regret buying the Foodi. With the lid open it measures 54cm, please allow extra for clearance. Good luck and enjoy.

Ah thanks. Really good to hear it! Hv u tried cooking sth containing lots of liquid like soup? I heard some pressure cookers couldn’t handle the liquid and it kinda exploded inside and the lid would be a mess to clean...

Lina

Pressure cooker is fantastic. It gives the max level for liquid. If you stick to instructions you will be ok. Cooking sauces and curries will be done in no time.

Hi, this unit is only 4 litres. Is it large enough for a family of 4? I was looking at a 7 litre Crockpot.

Kirsty B.
Kirsty B.

It is 6L but you can’t fill it full of particularly wet (like soup) Ingredients. Usually they recommend 2/3 full. I have a family of 5 and my 6qrt AIO is plenty big enough. I hope this helps. Depends on the meal but 4L of curry/pasta sauce etc is ALOT. I did a 2kg chook and it could have even been bigger but it definitely had more than we ate in one meal and then I added it back to make a couple of litres of stock. My kids are 10,16 and almost 18.

Why does my pressure release value leak steam after its pressuring? It’s in the Seal position .The ring is on tight & everything is clean. It’s never done this before. Only used it 6 times.

MONTROSE

No idea. Suggest you ring the company that distributes Ninja products in Australia - believe they are based in western Sydney, They should be able to answer your question. Good luck.

In the USA they are dehydrating food. The Australian one doesn't have this setting. Can we dehydrate if yes how?

MONTROSE
MONTROSE

To my knowledge, the Ninja Foodi model that dehydrates has never been imported into Australia. Suggest you contact the distributor direct, believe they are based in the western Sydney area. Have definitely seen their website come up if you type into your browser "Ninja Foodi Multicooker".

How well does it grill a piece of steak or a lamb chop?

MONTROSE
MONTROSE

We have never tried grilling/cooking this type of meat as we prefer a hot grill pan - we opt to have steak cooked Blue - and usually it is cooked both sides within 2-3 minutes. Cannot see why you could not get a good result with the grill selection button if you prefer your meat cooked well/medium it should work in the Ninja Foodi Multi Cooker.

However, if appears that there will be a Ninja Foodi Grill AG301 unit released in Australia late October. Reviews from the USA look very positive. Looks like it could be very useful and worth checking out - just type the name of the new unit in your browser and you will find many websites with reviews. If your issue is grilling, it looks like this new unit covers this area perfectly.

We have had a number of Philips Air Fryers over the past 8 years but the Ninja Foodi Multi Cooker has now taken over as our main unit as it is much more useful.

If you are after more recipe books, further to the one that comes in the box, I have found there are plenty of cookbooks for the Ninja Foodi online - starting around AUD22.00 (Fishbooks) for the beginners cookbook and up to AUD50.00 for larger versions.

TVSN were offering the cheaper book for around $10 with their Ninja Foodi mid July 2019 but sold out before the end of the show.

Sorry guys I missed the original notification. As far as I can see there’s no difference - I’m guessing it’s a corporate code or a typo. I have purchased 2 from different retailers with the 2 different codes and there is absolutely no difference between them. Hope this helps!

MONTROSE
MONTROSE

From trying to find this difference out myself, believe the difference between the OP300 and OP301 is nil - both appear to have the same specifications. However, it would appear that you can get the OP 302 model in the USA which has the dehydrator.
