have a30 meter nylex retractable hose for 4months. at first it would not retract until 6 attempts. now all it wants to do is retract. what the hell is going on??? I will never buy nylex again. Lost my receipt. Will a mastercard statement do??? Or how can i fix the issue!

Well I've actually bought five Nylex automatic houses and they have now all filed within 3 1/2 to 4 years some Annie lasted 13 months and when I asked for warranty well they said if you can furnish us with a receipt. We will look at it. All I can say is I have always bought Nylex for over 50 years but now I can only say their product does not come up anywhere near to standard and their warranty is absolutely useless it doesn't last 25 years I had a separation from my wife and bought a little house and I wanted it to be watered easily with retractable hoses and now all I have is five failed Nylex hoses. Very disappointing but I wouldn't of thought Nylex would destroy their name that easily interesting

I have a nylex retractable garden hose the blue and white one. it starts leaking from inside so i opened it and found out that where the hose is connected to the center of the unit it broke. Very bad cheap plastic plastic. It is hardily used, and the hose is clipped there was no way that you pull on the connection.But it broke where the clip is applies. Very cheap of rubbish. Also, as i read that there is no replacement parts.

Well as you know there was a problem with your product. you had many complains as i understand. You can at least supply a better part. i cannot see that someone can be injured with the retractable spring. I will wait to hear from you in the near future and solve the issue.

My Nylex was leaking internally. This seems so common. The internal connector where the hose fits cracks or breaks clean off. Trying not to throw mine in the bin. it is out of warrantee and no replacement parts available. I did contact the support team to see if I could get the part. Answer, No. Very disappointing Nylex

The water pressure may have damaged my sisters hose. She has a manual reel hose. I heard a pop and the hose came out exposing a spring. How can I repair this literally less than a few months old. Thank you

Sorry I should have been more specific the tap was on blast however I had the gun on off I ran round the house to turn the tap off but it was too late

I have a Nylex retractable hose that won't "lock" at the desired hose length and constantly wants to retract. Can this be fixed?

There is a spring system inside which is virtually inaccessible. The issue is if you still have the receipt and under warranty is best to let them deal with it for you. If not under warranty, then I’m afraid you have a dead weight which is similar to what I ended up with and hence was placed in the hard rubbish collection pile.

My advice is to bin it and buy another brand. Very Very disappointed with mine as it did the same thing. No joy complaining to Nylex. I went with Holman because i could not afford a Hoselink (which are the best by far) Will NEVER buy Nylex again!

I have a 30-35 meter ordinary hose and got sick of winding it up all the time so I went and bought a 25 meter nylex hose real and have to be honest it’s putting out rubbish pressure the sprinkler is going at least a meter and a half less of the distance compared to my ordinary hose what can I do to resolve my issue and have a automatic wind up system thanks

Is there a way to open and get access to the reel itself?

My Nylex hose reel at times sticks and stops when I want to operate it. I have to pull the hose in a in and out function to use it. What is the cause of this. Tony

Why would water pressure be affected by length of a hose reel?

Internal diameter of hose is less hence volume at outlet is less and pressure reduces. A Gardena long reel has proved to be ok
